I don't take buses/trains everyday so I do not need it.

unlimited bus rides on basic services. not on premium/express though.

There's this fine line of society..
Younger ones go to school. Too much free time. Bus Fans use the free time to travel even to Pulau Semakau. Problem: no income
Older ones go to work. Little free time as its mostly used for social committments. Bus Fans find it hard to balance between travelling and going out with other fellas. They have money. Problem: no time
Who can dispute what i said above? lol..

While a commuter may not save money using this card, it will eliminate the hassle of having to top up the card.
The season pass also enables commuters to set aside a fixed amount for transport, which is useful if they want to manage their finances.
This is one of the LAMEST reason SMRT/SBS spokesman can ever come up with???!!
Eliminate hassle to having to top up card? I would most gladly do the top up than spend "unused" money on remainer value of card.
And teach people about managing their finances by siphoning their money away? heheh...evil....

Everybody complaining no bus pass for adults. So they create one.
Expensive enough to lure people not to buy. Haha...
Should be $120 to be reasonable for people to buy I suppose. $170 is too high up. -
