I heard from someone that the older Vogelsitzes that are on the CAC UDs and the O405s, the bum area is a wooden plank with only the fabric cover over it, and the backrest cushion is very thin... isit true?
Also, TIBS originally had most of their buses in different bodywork, but i noticed that their interior fittings are almost similar; specifically the green aircon ducts on the O405s, DAFs, Scanias, O405Gs MK I/II. Does anyone know why the bodywork manufacturer's interior fittings weren't used instead?

Oh sure it is thin. Imagine being sit on for more than 10 years from 5am to 12 in the morning the next day; won't you be flattened? ![]()
For the second one I believe that this was done in order to create a common image within the buses of the same company. Everything is built according to TIBS specifications that they gave to the bodywork, or else why do the Scania Striders look so different from the MkIV Striders of SBST or even SBS999U looking so different from the Volgren bendies even though both actually came from the same series of bodywork, just that TIBS made specifications to make it look different from SBST's

hmm i was referring to the interior fittings, the green aircon ducts and the green walls. Seems like they got from the same supplier.

They should be a different supplier, as some of the small details (filter grills and such) are different. However, going that close would be unnecessary; the interior is obviously built to the specifications of the company itself.
