For discussion on buses in Wikipedia.
Just noticed several blaring edits in the article Bukit Panjang Bus Interchange. Apparently the perpetrator seems to be an unidentified user with the IP address 219.74.18.30. Will need to undo the edits if it's true that the edits present fake information.
Also, I've made structural changes to the article Mercedes-Benz OC500LE so that the information is much more organised. Some more edits need to be done to the "Second Production Batch" section though.
well, what to do since wikipedia's a public website. Though we keep editing, im sure those vandals will be back for more..
the most obvious 'vandaliser' who thinks that SBST/SMRT would really start a svc by using his route suggestions, is Alanlim9320.
.
i believe it's a public edit
unidentified user with the IP address 219.74.18.30, so banning the IP address won't work at all.
Buses in Singapore is a comparative obscure scope in Wikipedia compared to other topics. That's why there are not many regular vandal-fighters who are able to quickly pick out the vandalism.
Use 'rvv' in edit summary when reverting to indicate that you are deleting away vandalism. This helps the regulars to identify them again in future.

IP address belongs to Singtel, and since Singtel uses dynamic IP, banning it would only affect other users who may be allocated that IP.

There is also something wrong with this page (didn't check the actual numbers but I am sure those highlighted in red in the quote are wrong):

and I wonder why it keeps listing the stuff they don't have (KUBs, Citaros, etc.). And if you don't know, ABM Industries "an American corporation involved in outsourced, building maintenance" according to wikipedia although Custom Coaches CB50/60 are actual boydworks that are on Aussie's L94UB buses

More erroneous edits have been found on the 'SBS Transit' article in Wikipedia. A check of the history page shows that the edits seem to come from three IP addresses, 121.7.35.70, 219.75.95.23 and 220.255.24.182.
there is no need to feature elaborate information like composition of fleet inside each depot, which only leaves chance for more errors unspotted and upkeeping. which public member would actually be interested in such info, and what's barring the more interested ones from finding them in sgwiki?
let's keep wikipedia articles simple.
