a lesson to learn everyday or trip. how u handle crowd, how to become wiser on the road. how to handle nasty pax. didnt the bc stressed u? no matter how he drive this trip, today , weekly , day or night, he still get the same paid what!!!!!!!!!!.pax pay bus fare to share the bus only, nobody is special on broad. public transportation, share media. either u upgrade yourself to more personal service ( buy car, bike, bicycle or take taxi, car pool etc) or accept life.

i have seen many times when BC waiting passengers, after which, they didnt even bother to say thank you, plain rude..
to all commuters, a thank you doesnt hurt..
for the fact tat, whole of the bus are waiting for u..
and pls, all BC dun stop at every stop la... waste time..

Took TIB848D on perm 852 yesterday. A middle-aged lady requested BC 2 lower down temperature of air-con coz she felt hot while taking it. Den he adjusted temperature. But after tat, she murmured 2 herself in chinese, 'Why is it so hot?'
But wad else does she wan, ELBO is a CAC bus, so dun expect 2 feel so freezy like other OAC buses.

Another classic example of an idiot encountered by BCs often.She wants it cold. But some other passengers might prefer weaker air-con as they are scared of cold. How she expect the BC to please everyone of them? Typical selfish shit. The bus is not her home la.
I, for one, hates really cold air-con. Cant stand the air-con blowing at me even when its hot outside. As long as i dont feel stuffy in the bus, im happy.

DD there's an issue I wld like to enquire. understand that its hard to pls everybody.
however sometimes the BCs keep the temperture very Low when its during e morning (6 - 7AM) and there are very little passengers on board hence less heat produced.. on the other hand they kept it High during e afternoon (2 - 4PM) when the sun is Hot at its peak.. which can sometimes be very stuffy..
any reasons for this? something to do with engine?

Yahx, she is demanded. But passengers have the right to ask for BC 2 adjust whole ac as BC is meant 2 serve ppl wit comfortability. If he nvr did so, I tink she might complain about it. As long as all of passengers do not piss off by her 'behaviour' can alr.Strong air conditioning can make mi get veri cold & flu, if worse. Took all of OAC buses at night, felt veri freezy.

Most of the buses cant adjust the air-con. BCs (at least for myself) probably didnt do anything to it. It's normal that the air-con is colder in the morning n late night n not cold in the day. -

Law by law, you won't be at fault, but make sure that they're disadvantaged by your law by law actions.
IMO, it's like a cycle among the government, company and commuters.
1) LTA: Safety rules, encourage people to take public transport
2) SBST: Apply safety rules and lenghten runtime, therefore, slow journey
3) Commuters: Complain that the journey is very slow, they rather they drive.
4) LTA: Try to pursue those pax to continue public transport
etcWhatever it is, looks like they are failing themselves. Car, expensive. Trains aren't too comfortable too ride on. Bus too slow. Leave cycling and walking out. Are they training our patience? I won't be surprised to see crazy people outside there telling people about politics like what I experienced on 490U, Sv52.

Sometimes I noticed that passengers did not flag at the bus stop when the bus coming. They just stand in front and wait till the bus stop. As a result, I think it is 50-50. It means that the bus captain is thinking wheater he or she wants to stop at the bus or just move on. I notice this everytime when I were in the bus to my destination.

This week is really an unlucky week for me. Friday was the THIRD time this week i met a pri*k passenger who scolded me when i wasnt at fault at all.
This time it was some fat ugly young guy, around my age or younger. As many of us know, in places like orchard road or shenton way etc, there are some bus stops that need not be stopped by some services. Realising that i skipped this particular bus stop, he came to me and said,
"Why just now that bus stop never stop"
I said, "just now that bus stop dont have"
"What dont have?! Why you never stop?!" he said.
I told him, "that bus stop dont need to stop"
What he replied after i said this is enough to spoil anyone's day.
"What dont need to stop. I everytime take this bus okay. U BULLSHIT"
I just kept quiet. When i stopped the bus, i turned n stare at him, he never look at me, keep facing the entrance door. I stared all the way until he disappears from my sight.
This pri*k actually has the cheek to CHALLENGE someone who DRIVES the route EVERYDAY.
By the way, the bus stop i skipped is just 1 minute walk away from the next bus stop.
And if the pri*k himself is reading this, u owe me an APOLOGY. U being born ugly is not my fault, dont anyhow scold pple.

I remember the VS stop at Marine Parade need not be called by buses other than those that loop at Siglap. So, 196, 197, 31, etc. won't stop there.
Some BCs would unofficially allow boarding/alighting at that stop though ( I remember 196, and that time there was no AVLS, so no automatic fare stage updating. so can tap at the fare stage of the stop before that)
now they have made that stop to include all services. probably due to complaints by those who feel that stop should not be skipped. but the previous stop is not very far away - probably the reason it was skipped intially, just like how some alternate stops are skipped along Orchard Rd etc.

Best excuse - A/C auto-climate cannot adjust. Corp Comms announced it publicly before, so just let her suck thumb.
Though occasionally it's not the A/C that is at fault. The first OC Batch II I boarded the first time, I saw missing screws and the A/C cover partially open (though not obvious) - the temp sensor went crazy and the priority seats were just freezing. Not sure if the SL I told manage to get it fixed though.
