Make sense perfectly. :D22 end-on berths, i guess there'll be 2 of it for each bus service, therefore 11 bus services will be using it. Then, 6 boarding sawtooth, each has 3 services, like what most of the sawtooth berths in the temporary interchange has now, making up 18 bus services. And a total 29 bus services. I think that there will be 2 sawtooth berths with 4 services, which is very likely.
Hmm 2 per service for the end-ons... rather tight I should say.
It's possible that the new interchange might just turn into another jumpbus hot spot.

any idea which service would take the end-ons?
Its likely there wont be 2 berth per service for the end-on berths. The layout should mirror the old Boon Lay Int, with 30 being nearest to JP2 and 198 the farthest.
yongjianrong & service_238:
it is definitely 3 services per sawtooth berth at all 6 and 2 end-on berths serves one service unless they change layout last minute before Dec.
the only thing is that 4 services at the end-on berths get longer queue lines (you know those railings)
saw them with my own eyes. you can see parts of the interchange pretty well if you walk closer to the two entrances from outside.
actually the entire interchange will be pretty tight. on the sawtooth side there are only 38 lots, with 8 for SMRTB. this means 30 lots for 14 or so SBST services.
i wondering what services that were from sawtooth in old BNL layout will move to end-on berths in new BNL int.. cannot be feeders cos their headway in peak hrs is quite short. JIS? it would be weird if JIS are located at end-ons.
I think end-on berth will the same format as the old int one
30,154.... 198

30, 154, 172, 178, 187, 157, 174, 198. Should be in this sequence if I remembered correctly.

174e was introduced on 28 March 2005. The interchange shifted on 18 June 2006. So 174e was already there at the old interchange.

it's share with 174 but got it's own waiting area.
far too small it seems. maybe they have the intention to move some services over to joo koon

Yes it is. And in order for me to get home in the future, I have to walk all the way to take 157/198!
good thing all the non slbp buses use end-on side. smooth movement flow at the sawtooth is questionable. 192 and 193 technically does not have breaks in boon lay int besides change shift. occasionally in the early afternoons, they have 5-6 mins ones at boon lay but definitely not during the peak period. so u can slash them off. 180 is another case. 79 is a loop service so that is striked off. there are currently 28 SBST services (excl 174e as they use same lots as 174) in boon lay. slashing off 4 of them makes it 24 services. then we have the end-ons which lets say consists of 30, 154, 157, 174 and 198, this drops the number of services to 19 parking in the sawtooth. and then we have the joo koon terminal.
my guess is that all of the SMRTB svces may use sawtooth instead as they have 8 parking lots for them. 8 parking lots denote 3 services? 3 for 172, 2 for 178 and 3 for 187? since 180 doesnt have scheduled breaks in boon lay, itsl ikely they use sawtooth instead of wasting end-on space.
and we have joo koon, though nothing much has been done about joo koon terminal. if some JIS services are amended there. it should cut short to 15 or 16 services parking in the sawtooth in boon lay int?
my thoughts as a whole.

this explains why boon lay a/c int opening date is postponed ma. or i think LTA is going to scrap this JKN Terminal plan anytime.

there can be a million reasons why boon lay new int is opened in Q4... its not necessary entirely linked to the construction of Joo Koon Terminal

rmb reading somewhere about plans 2 built joo koon ter or sth like that in the future when they talked abt the opening of boon lay int...think it was in the today papers

I went to take a look yesterday at the gates, it was really 2 end-on berths per "B" berth, separated by a pillar.
