aniway took their bendies when i was in London for a period of time...
the buses have zero steps front end to rear
plastic bucket seats dun differ much in terms of our bendy, the interior is light blue...
and theirs is not like our plug door, they push n slide doors...
passengers using their oyster cards can board from the rear doors unlike urs...

In fact the mayor was elected with the promise to get rid of bendies from London streets.
The previous one got rid of the Routemaster and replaced them with bendies, which was extremely unpopular due to its iconic nature, boarding times and seating capacity.
It didn't help that the bendy buses caught fire in a few incidents, one notoriously while it was on the Motorway (Expressway), new bendy on delivery route to the bus company.

But Dennis Tridents use Cummins engines from USA. Also, Volvo is a Swedish brand. Ditto for Scania.
No wonder UK has no MAN 24.310s because of the German connection. The only reason for using the Citaroes was to honour some EU Free Trade deal.
Fellow enthu found this photo online, should be taken not too long ago:
East Lancs 'Kinetec+', MAN 18.240.

My bad, I didn't know MAN had operations in UK.
Anyway, back to topic. Citaroes, both rigid and artic, may not be suitable for SG due to its width.
