tear down the existing one?

Due 3rd quater next year. Located on the first floor of shopping mall. Connected to NEL & CCL.
Expected to be 16 bays.
The yellow and red boxy structures are the entrances for the NEL. The 2 concrete structures in the middle bottom are the CCL entrances. The other one is located just behind the right most tower crane in the panoramic shot. The existing bus interchange is located at the end on the right.
i wonder if there will be other services terminating there...since its expected to be 16 bays and there are 11 services serving serangoon int currently

its a Y shaped tunnel to facilitate traffic flow towards town direction onto bendemeer from macpherson and upp serangoon and vice versa.
It includes an additional lane of flyover for the spill over traffic along the PIE slip road
There is an article here posted by QX179R somewhere...
Yeah i still remember the old iconic red design of the Serangoon Fire Station building.Nvm we now still have the Central Fire Station with it's same old iconic red design too.
a replica of tat S'goon Fire Stn structure would be built after the 3x tunnel + flyover enhancement is done
replica isnt the original. sad though. damn sad.
I am also baffled as to where the entrance will be. i highly doubt it would be along the current road as there is just no space for it. It can not be along upp serangoon road also. maybe its at ave 2.
Same goes for the entrance for the carpark and loading bay...
I will try to take some pics on the other side along ave 2 next time.
I dont think they will tear down the existing structure. They just installed the ERP parking system a few months ago for the whole of serangoon central. Perhaps they will convert the current interchange into something like kovan/houngang south.
Dont know about the bus services, not a bus person but more services is always good. ![]()
