So if I waited very long and a crowded bus come, I would wait an extra 5 minutes for the next to arrive... which is usually less crowded.
But sometimes if you get buses that kena 拉分 by timekeeper, meaning they delay departure of the bus due to either missing slots resulting from breakdown, undespatched buses or previous arrival very late, then you wait 50% longer for your bus, but next bus is also 50% longer waiting time. SMRT loves to practice 拉分. Anyhow like to pull here pull there, frequency go haywire. Once you start pulling it's very hard to pull back to original scheduled times unless there's an incoming wave of long breaks.
I've ever encountered 1 851 duty in the morning 拉分 by timekeeper 15 minutes, covering another 3 missing slots. From 6.08am - 6.36am there is just one bus. ![]()
