What are the guidelines and requirements for importing and registering a private bus in sg.
things like whats the weight and diemensions to look out for. What makes it considered as a bus under the rules
cant find anything much in the LTA and one motoring websites.
will appreciate the help and thanks in advanced.
Here are some tips:
For CB plate: you need to attach the " Form A" student namelist to register
For PA/PC/PZ ( Excursion) Plate: Your IC , driving license & VL
For PA/PC/PH ( Private Hire) Plate: You need to attach the workers' conveyance list
Now for all buses to be registered , it must be a least Euro 4 , pls check the prices of buses from their various importers , COE [prices & insurance pakages.
If you want to own a bus yourself , its best you get a china brand one , its cheap & if you take school children , get a CB plate one
wah next time if got any sgforums outing can take your bus.

For a private bus (proper, ie not private hire), you need to have a registered entity.
Anything can be a bus as long as it carries 8 or more people, a Toyota Hiace or Nissan Urvan can be a bus.
Go down to LTA at Sin Ming or call 1800-2255582 for more information.
so are you buying a bus ?
