The bus stop is closed after 7.30 pm. See the first page of the poster.
I guess, train will be a better option, coz:
MRT: Usually will increase frequency, with more trains, kind of like "special peak";
Bus: Affected by road closure, congestions etc.
Any views on this?

NDP ticket holders are advised to come via train as from there onwards they will be sorted and directed towards the Marina Bay.

yes I did take note of that. But the poster which has the map of the road closure includes it also under 2-4 pm. Quite confusing.

Trains are also likely to be packed (more so especially after the event)
Last year I walked to somewhere near City Hall MRT, then there's a bus that would bring me to Little India Stn, from there take 48. Takes a bit more time but are there anymore bus options?
National Stadium was the best! Walk to near KFC then 16 would come there.. It's also not very packed ![]()
Tkae 36 and take a big round. The Suntec conventions ctr bus stop not affected. Alight there and walk.
Btw what time will e show start? If it's around 3-4 that you wanna have a seat i recommend you to take 196 to Collyer Quay. That bus stop closing at 4 ma
Or if you dun mind can take MRT. Easiest way.
Btw u stay at Marine Parade?

Next time, the circle line will bring you there with ease. ![]()
I went there last year by city shoppers svc, alighted @ raffles hotel. Too bad tat SBST abolished those svcs already.
Suggest tat u take mrt to city hall, reach there early whereas posible to avoid the crowd. Another way is take 196 and alight at suntec city.
Note: there will be contigents marching along esplanade dr and passing by the merlion.
Cheers
