  ok i see thx alot i thought 178 will never get rigids, for now due to the u31s i saw.

   

  also will it be updated?(on sgwiki and the redeployment thread?)

  178 all the while is rigids, just that they are old and middle age only. Except TIB368Y, TIB370P, TIB375B, TIB376Z and TIB1255H, the senior citizens of 178. Haha.

  Anyway, a Box Bendy did appear on 178 long long time ago to try out, but failed.

  All non-articulated buses are rigids, which include Merc O405s, OC500LE, DAFs, Hinos, Dennis, Scanias and not forgetting the UDs.

  what i mean was 'new' rigids as in the leftovers from the Hispano CACs, I know they kept using U31s till late last year, where they switched from U31s to Mercedes Benz CACs.

   

  not sure if I will see more of them(mercedes Benz rigids) after this qtr or 4th.

  Not really. Cos SMRT is trying to put Scania on 178.

  I already saw that, as majority of the 178s i saw was Scania in Boon Lay interchange.

  178 was all the while scanias till 2004 when some css buses xfer into smrt's fleet, all the scanias got replaced with the older fleets of nissans including the ex css ones. It was when 4th quarter last year new OCs coming in, smrt are gradually phasing out all the old buses and putting scanias back to 178.
