Full week or not, does it really matter?
So long they interchange with each other, no matter how long it is still interchangeable.

you're just interested in arguing right....so of course what you say won't matter either.

That was somewhere after service 950 was introduced in Sept 2004. Some of the Mercs from services 75, 167, 961, 963 (just to name a few) went over to do service 950, this services in return got hold of some OAC Scanias from services 178 and 980. In return, service 178 kana some Nissan UD perms (both OAC and ex-CSS CACs which were re-regoed), whereas some of service 980's duties were transferred over to AMDEP. And in 2006 service 178 officially became a full Nissan UD fleet.Note that some of the ex-CSS Nissans also did Bt Panjang feeders before but they were never perms.
As for the Mercs on service 178, I would say that they do cameo once in a while only.
oh i see thanks
anyway, it is a common thing to see mercz on 178 and other services these days

So if lets say TIB1230D does 900 and TIB1049L does 963 in return for a day but on a regular basis, are Svc 963 perms interchangeable with Svc 900 perms? Then if TIB541M does 858 and TIB802K does 920 for a day but on a regular basis, are Svc 858 perms are interchangeable with Svc 920 perms? What about the S-Shift bendies of WLDEP (TIB1245L TIB1166G TIB1139K TIB1179U TIB1140E TIB1025E TIB1178Y etc) that forever does each other's perm services in the PM S-Shift duty? Doesn' that indirectly mean that the all services are interchangeable with each other? Then what does the term "cameo" mean?

nope, bendies from any perms are interchangeable, not which one does which.
the term cameo means replacing the missing slot on that particular bus on that particular service

the term cameo means it happens once in a blue moon
then i ask u
how do u know these buses are "interchangable"?
I give up liaos ... ...

by observing, don't you know
how?
same exact bus do x-over or wad?

It is possible to observe, because by observing most of the time you will notice that most of the time its the same few buses are the ones running around in WLDEP like those I have listed down.
The problem is that his concept of "interchangeable" and "cameos" are all wrong ... ...
like really do i have to list out every single thing about buses x-over?

if you are confident in it, why not?

if we used that theory, there is no such thing called "cameos" under SMRT anymore.
Only SBS.

The depot along Yio Chu Kang Road wasn't known as Ang Mo Kio Depot. But, Paya Lebar Depot.
So when was it renamed Ang Mo Kio depot?
What was the former deplyment of 382 and 385?

If I am not wrong, it should be:
Mercedes Benz OF1417 NZB bodies -> Volvo B10M MK2 DM NAC -> Mercedes Benz O305 (for 385 only) and Volvo B10M MK 2 DM and WA CAC
before their withdrawals.

Paya Lebar Depot was not actually renamed as Ang Mo Kio Depot. It was when its operations began at a bigger complex which is at Ang Mo Kio St 63. The former depot was at Yio Chu Kang Road
Does anyone has the photos of how the former Marine Parade terminal looks like, before it was closed down and covered by VS?
For how long did 16 stayed under Bedok north, and 153 how long at batok?
And for AR-BB/BR/AM, When did they interchange their buses
By the way, for how long 143 stayed at AMK before going to braddell

But 70, 107, 186 remains PAC until 2003, when LO2x were withdrawn, VO2x were transfer to SLBP and 107 became HGDEP.
28 was still PAC, during the SBST times, in 2002, when the service receives a new batch of VSO, then the service was made FAC.
If I am not wrong service 107 was only made FAC when the route was extended to Hougang Central and went under full HGDEP with different fleet of buses.

Service 16 went under full BBDEP in 1999 if I remember correctly. That was when cutback to Marine Parade from CGA. All the BNDEP 16 buses went over to the enhanced service 36.

but then why the sudden change to give AR the control of 16?
Originally posted by One Harmonius Blend:but then why the sudden change to give AR the possession?
With the amendment of Service 36 to loop at Tomlinson Road and the conversion to full day service, BNDEP had deployed its former BNDEP 16 buses to Svc 36. Svc 16 became full BBDEP, when Service 16 was made to cutback to Marine Parade.. BNDEP 16 buses at the other hand, also did 16E.
