2 questions.
1. We all know that the SBS Mercedes Benz O305 and O405 are European products. But for the earlier models of the SBS Mercedes Benz models, like the LP1113, OF1113, OF1413 and OF1417, were they European chassis as well or are they Brazilian Mercedes BEnz models?
2. How did TIBS choose its bus models for its CSS services? Based on which criteria, the age of the bus, or the model of the bus, etc? Since we see the same Hinos and Nissans concurrently for both companies in the 1990s.

I remembered spot SBS9039G on 10 inside Tampines Int with Motorola ad during 2003 or 2004.
So, when 9039G went over SLBP to perm 157?
During the era of LO3x in ARBP circa 2001-03, 9039G 9043T 9120D 9149Y used to be from ARBP/BBDEP.
I remember 9043T 9149Y used to be ARBP 132 after 190 was handed over to TIBS
When bendies permed 980 (in the past) Were they weekend perms or split-shift weekday perms?

It went back to BBDEP/ARBP after 502 route was shortened due to NEL.
You know the perm status of 9040 9041 before going over to perm 199?
Anyway, 9100 went back BBDEP/ARBP to perm 132 after staying SLBP for a short while.

9040 9041 should be BBDEP SP. Sometime it did 14, 65, 99, 132, 147, 166..

for almost 5 yrs.. 1997 - 2002.
All diverted to 1) Pickering St > Sth Bridge Rd > Neil Rd > Cantonment Rd > Outram Rd, 2) Pickering St > Sth Bridge Rd > Neil Rd , 3) Pickering St > Sth Bridge Rd > Kreta Ayer Rd > New Bridge Rd.

old airport one was 2-3 yrs? hated the diverted route...always jam during peak periods...

Old Airport was from March 2006 to December 2008, due to the construction of Dakota MRT, hence it was 3 years.
As for the jam thing, right, Guilemard Camp Road, despite its widening, there has been still more traffic accidents.
Juz wondering, did 265 & 268 ever terminate at AMK bus int bef it was changed to AMDEP? and the reason was due to bus schedule thingy?

Service 265 was from the interchange, it was merged with service 267 in March 2002 when the interchange shifted to the temporary site.
Service 268 was previously service 263 which terminates at AMDEP. Not sure whether it terminated at the interchange before.

There isn't any useful purpose to terminate service 268 at the interchange, moreover the service has to split into two.

The Sembawang Bus Interchange, commenced its operations on 20th November 2005. It's main purpose is to house some existing services plying along the Sembawang area into a one-stop public transport hub in Sembawang, except for 169, 856, 962, on which its route remains unchanged and will still serve the Sembawang area.
Services 167, 859, 980 & 981 were amended to the new Sembawang Interchange and a new service 882, was introduced to link from Sembawang to Sembawang Rd End Terminal (Loop)
Its route changes:
1) Service 167, previously from Sembawang Rd End Ter to Bt Merah, was amended to Sembawang Vista, Canberra Rd, Canberra Link, Sembawang Rd and continue its route to Bt Merah
2) Service 859, previously from Yishun to Sembawang Cres (loop), was amended to Sembwang Vista, Canberra Rd, Admiralty Lane, Admiralty Link, Sembawang Dr, Sembawang Cres and continue its route to Yishun Int
3) Service 980, previously from Admiralty Rd West to Lor 1 Geylang, was amended to Sembawang Vista, Sembawang Dr, Sembawang Ave,and continue its route to Lor 1 Geylang
4) Service 981, previously from Sembawang Way to Senoko Loop (One-directional), was amended to Sembawang Vista and Sembawang Dr and continue its route to Senoko Loop.
New Service
Service 882, was introduced on 20th November 2005, the same day Sembawang Interhcange commenced its operations. It plies from Sembawang Int to Sembawang Rd End Ter (Loop)
(Service 882 was also being amended to serve Montreal Dr, Montral Link, Wellington Circle a few years later)

Service 265 never merged with 267. It merged with 266. 267 was withdrawn itself.
Service 268 only plied outside the interchange, without going up Ang Mo Kio Ave 8.
Note that why the two were Townlink services although they only plied a loop direction because they plied two ways between the interchagnge.

May I share the history of Service 182?
In 1972, it's between Benoi Rd & Upp Bt Timah Rd, under the ownership of UBC. In 1974, it was changed to ply New Bridge Rd from Upp Bt Timah Rd. When the Woodlands Int opened, it was amended to there, and subsequently to Marsiling Ter when it opened. In 1987, it was amended to Shenton Way Ter. In 1996, it was amended to Woodlands Reg Int and soon withdrawn.
In 1998, it was re-introduced to ply Tuas from Jurong East via Jurong East Ctrl, Jurong Town Hall Rd, Boon Lay Way, Corporation Rd, Jln Ahmad Ibrahim. In 2001, shortened to Boon Lay Int, skipping Jurong East Ctrl, Jurong Town Hall Rd, Boon Lay Way, Corporation Rd, serving Jln Boon Lay
In 2002, merged with 183 to ply between Boon Lay & Tuas South and to ply Jurong West St 64, Boon Lay Way, Upp Jurong Rd and PIE instead of Jln Boon Lay and Jln Ahmad Ibrahim. Amended to call at all stops along Upp Jurong Rd in 2004. An alternative service, 182#, will run between about 0900 to 2300 hours but not calling at Tuas Checkpt.
In 2008, service 182# was renumbered 182M.
