So 502 was under bbdep before or which jurong before slbp era?507 had no DDs? Yeah, the Striders went over to slbp for a short while and returned to bbdep after the PA Mercs perm 502 and 507. Some of those 264x Striders went to slbp and back to bbdep. Remember seeing a pic of 1897Z on 157 when slbp was new.
Ya, 9120 with the bridgestone or firestone?, anyway a tyre ad during that time in 2000 or so.
To jasonhsu: hmm, i think the days when 502 still up to sengkang its partial control bet SL/HG. I rmb seeing these buses on 502, most on repeated basis so i take it as perms
HG: 9326C, 9537K, 9659 (iirc), 9676, 9677 (tbc). I did have a 2733 tix on 502 but dont know if its perm.
SL have a group of WA mercs like 96A, 128S, 137, 155. The rest of the fleet I've forgotten alr.
Now thinking about 507, didnt really trace on its fleet. It occur that they seem like BB than SL cos of striders

Yup, the tyre ad. I think it was Firestone?
502 had 2677K 9300B 9609L from hgdep side too. It was majority hgdep if I am not wrong. Always see Volvo more than Mercs.

Services 112 and 113 used NAC and CAC Volvo MK2s from the former Hougang South 32x feeders.
Whereas service 101 used OAC and NAC Scania N113 CRBs from AMDEP for a start, those NAC buses were mainly from service 107 before extended to Hougang interchange. Things turned slightly better for service 101 when came under HGDEP with more AC buses deployed from HG side.

If you want to know the exact location where KJDEP is, take service 925 and you will see it. Is deep inside Kranji Road after the railway crossing.

Yes, HGDEP used to deploy all the fanciful buses for Express 502 (Tridants, VSOs, VO3x, Volvo MK4s etc). Enjoyed riding on them from Orchard to Boon Lay, express along Holland Road and Ulu Pandan Road in the past.
After being cutback in 2003, 502 came under full SLBP with all the boring Merc fleets.

Off-topic: But one thing I don't really understand is:
Why the SBST website and bus guides stated 101, 112 and 113 as FAC service since they had PAC permers from the start?
Originally posted by Spanish hog:

Striders were replaced by PA Merczs on 507 when 711/712/713 ceased on service. They were spread among 335, 502 and 507 mostly.
When 507 ceased operation, 183 was re-introduced. So, SBST put ex-507 permers on 183.

Bus guides were not accurate sometimes especially for some SBST services with either PAC or FAC status, so is the SBST website. SBST deployments might have adhoc changes at times.
Anyway currently all SBST services are FAC except for services 74, 91, 93, 182, 192, 193 and JIS services which still have perm VO2x.

The current volgren bendy perms on 962 all from WLDEP 184. (1184, 1188)

I think the Volgren Bendies on 184 were 1193C and 1194A. Or at least till late 2002.
anyone remembers which bus is swapped for SBS9614X?
I remember taking my first Bendy ride, Square Box bendy on 61, not sure which depot.

Should be TIB1098U. When service 859 got extended in Nov 2005, TIB490B and TIB773K were added into the fleet.
And on 23 March last year went back to WLDEP again lol
Service 859 as far as I can remember got swopped between WLDEP and AMDEP like almost 5 times already since its introduction in 1999. Started off with OAC Scania fleets then to Lance fleets under AMDEP after which got upgraded to Habits, then back to WLDEP with 0405Gs. And currently now with Scania and bendy fleets.

Should be KJDEP. AMDEP don't have the TIB8xx MB0405Gs unless it is the 2nd Hispano batch.

Ah yes... 1098U...
Lol.. yeah 859 is like a ping pong ball... If I remember...
April 1999: Full Scania L113 WA
Late 1999: Full Dennis Lance fleet
June 2000: 1049L became part of the fleet on 18 June, launch of Habits
Late 2000: 1054X, 1057M added, replacing all rigids. 1049L, 1054X, 1057M is the full fleet
Jan 2001: Fleet changed to 1001Z, 1046U, 1063U, 1111P
Fleet stays pretty much the same until Jan 2004
Jan 2004: 1242U, 1244P, 1246J replaces 1046U, 1063U, 1111P
Sep 2004: Service came under AMDEP, with the bendies mentioned above.
May 2005: Interchange opens. Fleet addition of 3 rigids.
These rigids also got thrown around until 490B ended up on 859 again..
Service stayed with AMDEP until the latest transfer which we see 859 going full WLDEP again.
