Sorry, my typo error. Corrected.

Well, I have taken Vikings on this route on two separate occasions. Not sure if those were perm ones. Can't remember if it had any Mercs in the first place.
190 fleet mainly Volvo B57. No Soon Chow buses seen on this AFAIK.

Mark IV DMs first came in 1995, not 1998.

I told you before, you had mistaken my post. The buses are not what I'm finding.

Then what buses are you finding?
SBS only bought the WA PS bodied buses between 1989 and 1992 for the following models:
- Volvo B10M MK2, 100 non air con ones but some converted to air con buses in 2000.
- Scania N113CRBs, 50 air con and 150 non air con ones with some to air con buses in 2000.
- Mercedes Benz O405, 200 air con ones.

I am refering to DM 3500 batch, not the 315 batch with the Striders.

I thought 190 used Albion Vikings as well??? And later before air con buses were introduced, it used Leyland Atlanteans??? ![]()

Service 190 when newly introduced in 1988 was a full single deck fleet made up of majority SC Albion Vikings and a few Volvo B57s. The Volvo MK2 WAs were meant to replace the outgoing Albion Vikings at that time. However due to the overwhelming crowd SBST had no choice but to deploy Leyland WAs to this route (can't remember when DDs started).
For service 190 going PAC, Merc 0405 DMs were initially deployed, followed by Volvo MK3s and then the LO3x deployments.

Nothing. At first I meant O405 WA (if they are NAC). But since they are OAC, there's nothing.
Even if you were referring to DM3500, you didn't mention what DM are you pointing at first. The earliest batch entered service in 1995.

There were 200 NAC Mark IIs. 109 of them were converted to CAC in 2000.
There were 150 NAC Scania N113CRB too.
How come you mistake both numbers?

Yes, there were 200 Volvo MK2s. Of which 100 were WA bodywork and another 100 DM bodywork. Vicamour is only referring to the 100 WA ones which u only wanted to know...

SBST rolled out a total of 700 Merc 0405s between 1990-1992 and here's the breakdown.

That's what I meant.
But made a mistake for the Scania N113CRBs. Only 150 NACs.

That will be great. ![]()
The mix of many different models between SBS5400 - SBS5624 was probably because SBS mass purchased a lot of buses that time to renew and expand its fleet and thus the mixed combinations of models within the same regos. ![]()

How many Dennis Lances were perm on 853 when they had just entered service? (For DM Lances only)
When were the Mercedes Benz OF1417 NZMB Version 2 manufactured and de-registered?
Originally posted by Gus.chong:How many Dennis Lances were perm on 853 when they had just entered service? (For DM Lances only)
The Lances weren't on 853 when they had just entered service. The first DM Lance on 853 is TIB911D (after the bus was redeployed the first time from AMDEP 59), followed by TIB941S and TIB944J.

There is only one version of the Mercedes Benz OF1417 NZMB bodied bus.
But the Volvo B57 have 2 versions of NZMB bodies. The difference is the front top desto roof dome, one version is flat another is a bit curved. ![]()

He got the information of that in sgwiki. I believe the buses were registered SBS5495Z - SBS5499M, SBS7005S - SBS7026G.

You are right, there is indeed OF1417s with NZMB Version 2 (Or Mark 2). But, the buses were registered and de-registered the same time as Version 1, registered in 1980 and de-registered in 1993/1994.
What was the purpose of making 61 and 173 WLDEP controlled in 2008? Is it because of making all BPJ services full KJDEP controlled? In mid 2008 like that, 920 & 922 the last services to becime KJDEP controlled, but for a short while, back to WLDEP controlled....

TIB922Y TIB923U TIB924S TIB925P were the 1st few lances to be perm service 853 in 1998, at that time service 853 was partial WLDEP controlled. More lances (94x series from service 866) were added into 853's fleet when 853 went back to full AMDEP in 1999 (that was when SBS took over Sengkang).
