I believed that they were the same batch. Just that SBS ordered too many buses that time and other models, especially the Atlanteans, were also in the works, thus, these few were registered much later... ![]()

But you must also take note that the mass replacement of the older buses that were used from the 3 former bus companies that formed SBS in 1973.

cos SBS had natural increase in buses when it was formed. By 1982 it had 3400 buses in its fleet.
Tat said, e capacity is 60 - 70, unlike today's 12m SD
When is the Dennis Dominator demonstrator registered and withdrawn?
Did any Mark 2 WA served 160 before?

none
160 was FAC from e beginning
Some questions on deployment on 82:
1) What are the perms on 82 in 1995 before handover to TIBS?
2) After handing over to TIBS, what perms did it use? Does it have any Lance perms?
3) When it was handed back to SBS, does it use the same perms or other perms?
4) How many Mark IIs served 82 before it was replaced by other buses?

How many Mark II WA were perm buses on 170?
Originally posted by Gus.chong:When is the Dennis Dominator demonstrator registered and withdrawn?
The bus was registered with SBS in 1982, out of SBS service in 1983. Served service 191, Clementi to Stamford Rd.
Shipped to Hong Kong in 1984, bought by KMB in 1986 as training bus, scrapped in 1991.
Finally saw a double deck plying SBST95. How many double deck buses allocated for SBST95?
How I wish the double deck were for SMRT106!
SMRT106 is often packed. And frequency for SMRT 106 is getting from bad to worse.

Which service 95 are you talking about? The Clementi - Airport Rd one or Kent Ridge - Buona Vista one?
Kent Ridge - Buona Vista
There is another 95 plying between clementi and airport road?

Service 95 in the past was from Clementi to Paya Lebar Airbase via Orchard & Toa Payoh. Withdrawn sometime in 1980s. The current one was introduced in 1994, from Buona Vista - Lower Kent Ridge Rd, extended to Kent Ridge in 2001, and in 2006, it was amended to loop at Holland Village.

I mean e current 105 replaced part of 95's route
105 was later amended to ply the MRT corridor instead of Ulu Pandan Rd. The Paya Lebar - Bartley Rd leg was removed w/ duplication w/ 28 & 93.
