I am hoping they deploy either a MKIV with ad, demo B10TL or a VO3x Batch 2/3 to replace 9810X.

All 5 of them are doing A/P shift today. I guess it's either BBDEP no bus to give or giving it a trial test for a few days to see whether it can cope up with it's average demand. But for now, these 5 of them are cameos not perm.

Looks like they are putting Euro 5 as Perm. I reckon many regular commuters on board 506 would complain.
The average load now is about 40 (at any one time) per trip... and DM3500 has got 46 seats. Now with Euro 5, there are only 34 seats, leaving 6 commuters to stand (at any one time) throughout the trip. -_-"...

Well, at least the BBDEP Euro 5s finally got a perm service instead of wondering around on other services as BBDEP SP. Compared to the Euro 4 Batch 1s that BBDEP has, Euro 5 got 7 more seats.

whatever floats their boat though, i mean even if they choose to make a full fleet of Scanias and commuters complain, it's up to them whether they want to deal with it or not

its about time new buses came in for Express Services as a change. new buses have lower capacity and commuters have to understand that. i hope they change all ticket validators to thermal printers soon.

of late the old validators giving lots of problems paper jam and keeps breaking down. thermal tickets are much more reliable.
new technology which are much more reliable should be kicked in, in full swing.

hm. maybe thats why the newer buses like B9TL KUB OC have thermal tickets. If im not wrong the only bus to change ticket reader is SBS73R? Anyway i dont think the operators will bother changing such a "minor" issue and concentrate on more pressing problems.
9810X is back repaired and on 143. tuakee driving the P shift portion. tinmings as follows
41P last car.
TPY: 1330 1740 2145
JE: 1954 2145 2330

ticket validators are crucial to bus operators, people would be able to cheat when ticket dispensers are faulty.
it will happen soon and am overjoyed. aren't you?
