I think it is the opposite? In fact 95 is like the internal shuttle for those with bus concession.
And despite finding 96 far more reliable than 95, I still persist in taking 95 because it travels past most of the places I need to go to.
I don't think I'll need to take 96 unless I'm going to UCC, or unless I dont feel like squeezing with the crowd at Buona Vista.
And if 95 undergoes fleet reduction, which is really likely, then the fabulous unreliability NUS folks know of will simply persist. And its not like CCL are bigger...will CCL help? I'm not sure. Coupled with the need to take internal shuttle which is also another real stinker as far as reliability is concerned if one takes CCL, I wonder how many will actually switch to CCL.

Haha I think at this point in time all comments about how CCL will affect 95 and 96 are premature, until the layout and the details of Kent Ridge station, such as where the exits are, will there be an underpass all the way past NUH to Science and Medicine etc. are finalized.
But I think it's only the passengers heading to NUH, the med and science students who'll really benefit from Kent Ridge station. Hence my comment about CCL taking over most of the load from 95, which may have been inaccurate.
The rest of NUS will most likely still depend on 96, 151 etc
Suspects something might be in for Sv 95 post CCL
Having typing this, it remains how well CCL can cope w/ 74 x 3 carriage trains on a 40km line

Feel tat 11 shld be taken off after the stadium stn opens. It doesnt serve as a purpose anymore as commuters by then would have a direct MRT link to kallang leisure park and indoor stadium.
Think 95 and 96 should merge to become 1 bus svc.

The reason why 96 can maintain such a fantastic frequency, and 95 a fairly ok one (tolerable with curses half the time), is because of the rapid turn-over of the buses upon completion of their short journeys, made shorter by short-working trips.
Why the heck would you want to merge 2 services that overlap only 2 bus-stops, and terminate at 2 different places? Both services are not even closely related. Both don't even serve the same set of NUS folks.

Hmm... Now even the Batch 1 K230UBs and some Euro 5s from BBDEP are heading to SLBP as well. Though HGDEP is clearing up some buses but it seems that the depots are very picky in the buses that are transferred. And seems that BBDEP controls only a small number of K230UBs.
Skali BBDEP do have plans to deploy the Striders to JB services?? ![]()

Hello my friend,SBS290E and SBS329D are SLBP buses nt AMDEP as u think.If u suggest that either one of this buses really goes over to AMDEP to replace SBS3765H,then wat bus do u suggest to replace SBS329D or SBS290E on 157 or 335?
I am perfectly fine with your idea but i think SBST maybe not so willing to follow your idea and shift buses here and there for nothing when AMDEP itself has it's own SP buses to replace 3765H.Dont tell me that AMDEP has zero SP buses until to the extent that SLBP must x-fer 329D and 290E over?
