replacing 220H which is awaiting de-registration.SBS3836L replaces 199L, SBS3773J still needs a replacement, currently buses from different services is covering it, today its SBS443G.
probably the am spares might replace lol. who knows it could be 555S.
but this is pure crazyness. 220H is the 12apr batch. it has like, half a year more and now layup alr while those jan dm oac's haven't even died yet. layup alr then cannot find replacement bus. lol joke. ![]()

one of the most redundant and boring redeployments. well maybe 8929 and 8947 are lousy so yeah
231 256 3801 --> awaiting de-registration.

220h might be having some problem with the engine/maintainence.. that why it was laid up early... those DM OAC are still in good conditions i think. take it before they gone.
SLBP alrd laid up 256E from the Jun 2010 batch... super fast...
the 900 kub is to replace all the N113 and merc. the kubs can well replace many of the O405s already.
do remember that the O405 were suppose to be retired but were extended. so technically they should have been removed but due to a lack of buses was continued. now that new buses are here, the old ones have to move out.

there's still 323U... haha

i dun think the 900KUB replace all the merc. it does replace N113. there are still 280 merc around... and with only 40 new EEV (from current batch) not yet registered, there is still shortages of 240 KUB to replace the balance merc..
Let say if we reduce the number of Spare buses in each depot to 25, so can contribute another 125 KUB (by replacing KUB perm with MK3/MK4 etc), there is still shortage of around 100 KUB. FUrther SBST have enhanced the frequency by adding buses to a lot of services.. so technically, 900 KUB is not enough to replace all the N113/Merc.

They buying 350 more buses which includes 200 more SD... so should be able to replace almost all the merc.

that why 900KUB is not enough .need 1100 KUB at least...

imo they really need more DDs than SDs.

Need more DDs? for which services? If they really need more DDs, then why there are around 55-60 spares ADDs in the depots? shouldnt they be deployed and make SD as spare?

u shld look out for e high demand svcs often
133 is just 1 of those.
i wonder why do they wanna lay up so many of those WA's which have like more months more compared to the DM OAC's/CAC's. one example was 195Y being sent to layup while 289K replaces it. but both have the same de-reg -_-

At first this is what I think since SBST started introducing WAB buses on the roads in 2006:-
Correct me if I am wrong.

- 200 Volvo B9TLs
200 Volvo MK2s
- 500 Euro 4 Scania K230UBs + 400 Euro 5s
200 Scania N113CRBs (150 NAC/CACs + 50 OACs) + 700 Merc 0405s (200 WA + 300 DM + 300 DM CAC)
- Which means another 350 new buses
300 Volvo MK3s + 100 NAC VO2x??
Correct me if I am wrong.
Volvo B7r to replace toe Mk3 will be nice
Dennis E500 to replace the Leyland will be nice

Volvo MK3s as well... They should be going off soon after the 0405s.

SBST should ask scania company to pause the influx of K230UBs while these O405s can survive mah.

the demand is there but it does not require full fleet DDs for Sv133...the demand is alway one directional during peak hours...
