Agreed with lemon,133 loads are high but always either one direction only.Does not require majority DDs.

- 200 Volvo B9TLs
200 Volvo MK2s
- 500 Euro 4 Scania K230UBs + 400 Euro 5s
200 Scania N113CRBs (150 NAC/CACs + 50 OACs) + 700 Merc 0405s (200 WA + 300 DM + 300 DM CAC)
- Which means another 350 new buses
300 Volvo MK3s + 100 NAC VO2x??
Correct me if I am wrong.
yes... if based on 1 to 1 replacement, this should be correct.. but in actual fact, it is not 1 to 1 replacement.
In June 2006, there are around 2800 buses in revenue services for SBST with around 230 SP. As of today, there are around 2990 buses in revenue service with around 250 SP. So looking at the number, there are around 170 additional buses being put on regular revenue services since then..
So where did these additional buses came from if it is just indeed 1 to 1 replacement? If it is indeed 1 to 1 replacement, then the number of SBST buses should be still around 2800 right now instead of 2990. How to meet the 10 mins peak hour frequency and how to find buses to put on Sv 5/45/175/185 (introduced in late 2006/early 2007) if SBST does not add new buses to its fleet?
The new 350 buses should be used to replace the balance merc (that mean most likely they will all go in 2010) + most likely VO2x (to phase out NAC fleet) . MK3 should stay till 2011, while LO3X should get another 2 years extension as well.

Should be. I always spot TIB1212G on 190 for recent days.
But need for further confirmation.

If im not wrong it was not the 200 B9TL replace the Mk2 as it was the 50 B10TL and the 1st 150 B9TL and the other 50 B9TL was add fleet...

50 B10TL was way back la. replacing LO2x.
i believe 100 of the KUBs are for the recent massive fleet additions of S Shift to meet with LTA's 10-min ruling. so technically another 100 merc will be replaced with the newest batch of 200. the other 100 is for MKIII. technically SBST needs to buy another 200 buses to replace the MKIII.
K230UB order was originally for 100 buses. Then SBST added 400 more, followed by another 400 and now the 200 they just ordered.

Just visited SGWiki just now. Seems that some people have vandalised the pages and edited the deployments of certain buses. Well, here are some things listed below.
1. 970 still has 10 AM/PM buses with 8 split shifts.
2. TIB1054X is AM61, not AM 851 anymore.
3, TIB569J, TIB674M, TIB731G, TIB733B and TIB734Z will be deployed on 856 to replace some of the missing Mercedes-Benz O405Gs on Sundays and Public Holidays. This is not true, it depends on the roster. And 856 has no other perm rigids than 742A and 751Z.
4. 786Z is not perm 700 unless proven.
5. An unknown bus will crossover to Service 911E (1 trip) before doing 963. Not true, this slot is TIB1242U.
6. Any 1 rigid bus will crossover to service 966 during Weekdays AM Peak. Not true, this slot is done by TIB832Z.
7. TIB661A operate during Weekdays AM peak only on 961. (What duty block does it belong to?
8. What is this about buses from 178, 187, 852, 961, 966 are interexchangable? Actually, ANY bus in that depot can be exchanged, it all depends on the starter. This goes with exception for OCs and 950 buses.
I know some of you people are trying to make the deployment pages as updated as possible, but don't vandalise it with information that is not true. Thanks. I hope this would not make SGWiki's info less reliable.

bodywork parts? not to mention the mountings inside the engine and radiator compartment might be different in the DM and Alexander bodies. I would rather cannibalise a bus in which I have greater commonality rather than a bus where only the running parts may be common.

i dun tink you will know the convenience of sv11 from kallang MRT to Nat stad wic takes only 6/7mins...
95/96 should not merge...
The only bus should merge is 179/96 w short trips from clementi int during morning/evening loading as it will link up the 2 varsities together!
