'Water' way to slow down bus drivers
A bus company in China has launched a new 'drive safely' campaign - by hanging big bowls of water next to their drivers.
The Longxiang Public Bus Company in Changsha, Hunan province, says drivers must drive gently to avoid spilling any water.
Bus drivers are expected to ensure the bowls are still full when they finish their shift, reports the Xiaoxiang Morning Post.
And the company warns drivers that CCTV footage will be studied to make sure they do not top up the bowls with water.
"Passengers often complain that sudden braking and bad driving makes them really uncomfortable on the buses," said a spokesman of the company.
"Hanging bowls of water in the driver's cab will discourage them from making any jolting starts, sudden braking or bad turns."

Yea.I saw a pic of the then SBS UD's driver cabin at Suhirman's photo gallery.But instead of a cup of water,a 1.5L bottle filled wit water was placed next to the driver's seat. -
8598R gives loud groaning sounds from the rear tyres everytime wen it accelerates as if the tyres r strained or someting.A lot of ppl sitting at the rear especially on top of the rear tyres were complaining abt the weird noise tis bus was giving.Another result of the horrid maintanence by bndep.

2 weeks ago,saw 8839X on 31 wit full pax along Simei Ave.The front middle curved portion of the bus where the sbst and Scania logos r placed was opened and the bus was jus moving normally as if a tow truck was pulling it!!!!But the fact is nth was pulling it and the bc also didnt seem to b aware of it.Didnt manage to see wat happened aft tat.

lots of trees along Bt Timah & Dunearn either got chopped off or pruned. -
that some of Rapid Penang's KUBs got sicker on the pole that says
"please do not grip this pole" it's in yellow colour with black strips
i just came back from Langkawi/Penang Trip
it's cool that i get to see those buses...
then when i reached SG, seeing our SBST KUBs reminds me of theirs lol
got 10m & 12m ones

sad to say, no. i only see it zooming. common ones that i saw is 201, 401E etci only see from outside coz i am on a tour bus, a scania bus !!! haha
the tour bus got suspension, like KUBs. and also go number 310
