SBS Transit orders 1100 buses from Scania (Part 5)

  SBS8815 is also down with damage front bumper (BC side).. dunno where it get into accident... seem like AMDEP KUB are damn unlucky... so many kenna accidents recently...

  SBS8940K got light purple front bumper in the middle. But both sides still retain the original purple colour.

  Currently no new buses for 197 yet. Not even the B9TLs.

  Maybe the next batch of new Volvo and Scania buses will be deployed on 197.

  Anyone noticed the new poles on top of the front left wheel interior cover??? Seems that they fix two vertical poles to support the top horizontal pole. SBS8166_ is one of them. Is there a major revamp in the interior design for the EURO 4s again???

  Front left or front right? Euro 4s are getting them installed progressively.

  Also, they are pasting yellow stickers on the front entrance a la the Euro 5s.

  saw a kub on training following 196's route when i took 196 from bedok...only when it turned into marine terrace it went on straight...KUB training for 197???

  Dun need to worry.All tis svcs will kena kubs very soon.Sooner or later,all svcs also will kena.So its only a matter of time of wen it will happen.

  Yeah that's the side I'm referring to.

  Notice that they've also replaced the railing around the wheel arch as well. From a 'n' shape it's become a 'H' shape now with the addition of the two support poles.

  I don't think so? so far it is 1100 scanias. from 400 to 900 to 1100.

  2000 is a little excessive considering their total fleet is only about 3000 currently isnt it?
