i think using this list is better. almost 70% of all sbst services have k230s.
Man, any of you live near the route that Svc 222 plys? The frequency is screwed!
Pre-AM Peak hours ( Okok 10 mins/bus)
Peak Hours ( At least 2 buses a minute WTH!? )
Post AM Peak hours ( 20 mins / bus WTH!!! Chai chee st and drive only gt 1 feeder 222 and still need to wait so long for bus )
PM Peak Hours ( 10 mins / bus )
Post-peak hours ( Wa... This is epic, during the last few buses of Svc 222 you can hear the bus accelerating ) (FYI , I live on the 12th floor man, even with my earphones on, i can hear it! WTH!!??)
If you all want me to record the sounds generated by the engine right, I can record it for you.
I predict 222 will be the next WAB Bus! ( Although there are far and few handicapped passengers but the new buses should be quieter!

noise from roads, be it honking, engine rev, ah pek cycling sounding his "I
my bike" bell, gets louder as you go higher up.
it's a phenomenon.

You havent suffered from the B9TLs I think.![]()
And I really really miss the days when 74 used to have WA MKII NACs as last few buses, their pick-up is incredible when empty and (I suspect), the BCs have full bladders.![]()

Yeah right, it just gets louder when you go higher, BTW there is only about :
2 B9TLs
0 K230UB
1/2 O405
3 Olympian
1 B10TL
and loads of random single-deck buses during the peak-hours ( SO MANY HOW TO COUNT LOL! )
i read from an old thread that Scania engines are very lasting compared to other brands. is that the reason why SBS bought so many KUBs? lol.

That got to depend on whether the K230UBs can withstand the narrow and slopy roads or not.

did 32 ever have KUB cameo? i seem to remember seeing a KUB along Margaret Drive perhaps last year.
considering that 32 passes through queenstown and bt ho swee which are old estates, i hope they eventually put KUB perm on 32 :D

The one you saw might be a training bus. 32 has never got kub cameo but it has its EDS programmed.
