  On one of the pictures I found is "Please do not talk to the bus driver while the bus is in motion". First of a kind that SMRT Citaro had that sticker, similar to the notices used by HK buses.

  Yea.1st wen i saw the bus,i tot the ad is really full body.Then see the pic of the rear of the bus,no ad.Was kinda shocked..

  The first unit sounds rough and slow from what I can hear.  It just doesn't put the power down as smoothly as the OC 500 LEs do.

  it sounds as if its rough and slow when actually its not! it was VERY fast and much much more smoother than the OCs.

  i hope some bus fans know how to react when the bus is full and jam packed. i saw one filming at the front with the camera facing the first offside window got glued and obstructed public commuters for ease in moving to the rear. secondly i hope SOME people can keep their volume down...

  Which side, left or right and what time did you see it? Before Harbourfront Int or after it terminates and leaves Harbourfront Int

  there's a difference between speed and acceleration. So your fast is acceleration?

  A bus can have fast acceleration and low top speed, or it can have slow acceleration and a very high top speed...

  During the rides i had i could feel the driver trying to floor the engine all the way, from the first gear to the fourth. Often or not the rear is drowned in the engine's muffled but definite loud groan.

  There was a moment when there was a burning smell entering the cabin after the rear doors were opened. But it quickly went away.

  Rush hour was bad, the engine was struggling to keep up the flooring pace from what i felt. It was almost high speed start-stop all the way towards the end...

   Its far worse than the SMB1H's 1st day in service , not counting that first day it broke down.

  Probably the engine still in running-in.Wait till the engine break running-in and had its first servicing.
