Yah. Same announcement appear on the OCs, but softer volume.
I konow this question is stupid but, there is so many annoucement and the annoucement controller only have 4 buttons, 3 blue 1 red. Then how do they use it. There is already more than 4 annoucements uploaded in the bus.

there are 5 announcements loaded in the system, of which 2 are automated and 3 others are manually operated by the 3 blue buttons.
Automated Announcement 1: "Thank you for travelling with SMRT Buses."
Automated Announcement 2: "Please hold onto the grabpoles or handgrips when standing in the bus."
now to the blue buttons. starting with the button on the most left.
Announcement Button 1: "Please move to the rear for the benefit of boarding passengers."
Announcement Button 2: "Please do not leave your belongings behind."
Announcement Button 3: "Attention please. This bus is affected by a service diversion ahead. Please check with our Service Leader for more details."
the red button is to activate/deactivate the mic function. a 3.5mm input for mic is available on the console.

All same as OC500LE.
Thanks for the answer but i thought there is the welcome onboard smrt buses annoucement?
This from NewPaper :
Seating : 37 Passenger
Standing : 44 Passengers
PIW : 1 PIW
Anyway, today newpaper talks a lot of SMB136C.
Foldable seat = 2 passenger.
Oh. The article says that the bus might be redeployed to a new route as 855 isn't a WAB service.
boarded the Citaro today, overall I'm very impressed with it & hope to see more of it soon on the roads..
the only thing I feel that can be improved abit better would be the air-con..

Would be better if some BCs followed what some 911 BC did as 911 BC loves cold air-con a lot ![]()

this is just a demo model so its expected to have its ups & downs but what is most important is that if SMRT decides to bring in more of these then hopefully they can rectify the air-con..
OT: saw "you" or rather the bus SMB66X at Harbourfront Int this morning..
spotted the citaro on Sv855 at around 8.45am at YCK road towards Yishun.. wonder why they put it on sv855 since it is a trial? I dun think this bus is able to pick up any PIW right now since it is not a "declared" WAB service... so what is the point of putting it on Sv855 for a trial? Might as well put it on Sv851 or 171 instead..

SMRT wants to make sure the bus performance is up to expectations before letting it trial on a WAB service.

Citaro G?
I'd favour the NG313 as direct replcacements for the box bendies.
What next, maybe SMB is mulling over the B9Ls for all we know.

Because 855 passes close to places (think RWS/HBF area) with high tourist traffic. SMB wanna show off.
Hope that they will purchase more 100% low floor buses beside Citaro.
