  for every 154A trip (except the DD that does 154A at 0855hrs), they will off service to Clementi Ave 6(Regent Pk) to start trip. Most of the time BCs conveniently start trip either at Clementi MRT or opp Clementi Int.

  it's evening peak tat's epic failure. 179A could not be tat frequent, maybe cos of new int.

  these 2 days I noticed more ppl taking 179A in e morning le. full load . Pioneer for 179 not much ppl le, can't say for percuma bas.

  evening peak, refer to my post over e freq mess. Sure full load as everyone wants to get out quickly.

  1) Sv 179 towards NTU overloaded w/ P-T students.

  2) Sv 179A freq 6 mins, thks to stucked at BNL Int. Sth Spine ppl kena dip dip.

  3) BNL Int space crunch!

  4) Alighting bay mess, cos of 179A and narrow road.

  tis morning spotted SBS staff placing queue divider inside JP2 boundary... 2 TIs located os JP2 facing MRT Stn w/ signboard to direct ppl to 179A..

  best part is 0730, still gotch ppl waiting at 179 queue.

  in some official sense, it's only alternative trips in am peak would do full trips for dispatch purposes.

  full trips depart around 6-8min from int. the downroutes come every 2-3min!

  or... is it time to introduce another service to NTU, to relieve the load taken by 179 and 179A??

   

  will this be a good solution to this problem?

  example:

  ptc can introduce 1 service from CCK int to NTU (via expressway) so that NTU ppl can have another bus aternative to NTU... that way, boon lay won't be so crowded during peak hours..

  hmm.. what do you think?

  it's possible.

  but I guess someone gotta model up e NTU-A, NTU-D, 179, 179A load for 1 direction, NTU-B, NTU-C, 199's load on e other direction bef figuring out can anymore buses be added.

  CCK is SMRT territory, and NTU is SBST territory.

    I think a new service from Jurong East to NTU is better. And Jurong East is the MRT interchange. Unless SBS Transit can introduce a bus service to Choa Chu Kang, which will be good.

  Will be great if 190 can go back to SBS again. Can see double deckers over the area again.
