We're dead
everything on land are counted for money incl bus interchanges. We dun need integrated bus hubs if it can't handle the passenger load.
I dun see the far-sightedness of Singapore anymore, all money money money

If Singapore is so great, then why so many Singaporeans are thinking of migrating???
It's still not too late, work hard, save up and move on to other better places, the world is not only here.

dun ever forget the hard work our forefathers made espeically in the 1970s and 1980s for us today. Is it that we've to go back to the need to fight for our very survival to be able to constantly working hard? I hope not, else it's sad
I think complacency has set it.
I really miss the old BNL interchange which easily can accomodate more buses. The new one got many flaw design.Didn't the architech take note of how many services are there in BNL?If space is the main issue then why not make a big underground or even multi storey interchange which Singapore is good at it?I predict upcoming Yishun,Clementi or even Bedok will share the same fate

if really ppl have bothered, it wun even have occured. The mind is alrdy only into 'integrated tpt hubs'.
as for multi storey interchanges, for one unlike a bus park you wun be able to maximise concourse space.
Underground? Where is the entrance and exit going to be at and there' JP beside to to take note of. Unless the whole underground thing stretches to current int plot
Somehow this thread has been transformed from a "discussion on the chaos that will happen on 28 Dec 09 at Boon Lay Int" to a "rail against anyone and everyone in Singapore" thread.

the old int does not accomodate more buses when there are many buses entering int at 1 time.
for the new int, time will tell.
seriously, there will be space issues when the interchange starts to operate
I spoken to one of the rep liao. There should not be jam issue like wat happen in the temp int now.

this one hard to say but it's likely there's going to be parking space issues

of course no jam la.. look at how all the end-on services and saw-tooth services turn out to when they exit the interchange..
As for turning in, we shall wait and see.

Instead of having rants about this-and-that about Singapore in threads outside of Speaker's Corner, why not choose between the following choices to at least keep this thread less political:
1) Migrate
2) Highlight this to your MP, the election is coming soon.

i think we can only wait and see once the normal weekday schedule are back in force 1 week after the interchange opens to know e actual impact.

the new clementi interchange will also be small i think...

time for SLBP to start jump bus for SLBP services.. 1 bus less per service mean more space... also, i believe that those buses going off service after "s" shift will simply alight the pax at new interchange and turn out to old interchange to tap and go instead..
