Yeah i know.

SBS9338T (BNDEP 9) both lower and upper deck TV Mobiles everytime turns blue.It works for very short then after that the whole screen will turn blue throughout. This problem has been existing for very very long alr.
Took this bus today and the problem is still there.Obviously they heck care abt them as they r no longer gonna be used for a period of time?

SBST don't own the sets. Mediacorp will have to take them back once the lease period is over.
mediacorp owns the TVM sets found in SBST buses. yes. how about the TVM sets found in horizon food mall? suntec city? bintan resort ferries? SMART taxis? they also belong to mediacorp. some of these operators had their lease contract terminated/expired with mediacorp but mediacorp didn't claim back these TVM sets. as i said, the news article states that the sbst spokesperson have already said that sbst will leave the TVM sets as it is until they find a new television operator willing to operate these sets. it already implies that mediacorp is not taking back the TVM sets. won't they clarify this matter if it was to be otherwise?
Early TVM Farewell for me:
SBS9888Y (being the first bus to get TVM)
SBS9631X

Pardon me from interfering. Please for goodness sake stop this needless argument about TVmobile TV set. When the time reaches and TVM go off SBST buses, the result will be known, if TVs are removed, mediacorp own them, if TVs stays, SBST owns them.

Perhaps RadioMobile?

Tried and tested before.
you all never see ah?
according to the whackjobs over at Speaker's Corner, they say that this is an unsuccessful method of brainwashing by the MIW and therefore they'll discontinue it..
AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

the sound on some of those buses is so shrill and loud... especially early in the morning or late at night.
you're trying to sleep but can't thanks to that annoying shrill barrage of noise.
The worst is the Just for Laughs...its no laughing matter hearing hee-hee-haw-haws for 1/2 hour when you're trying to sleep.

I agree that the radio was on before, but I supposed the volume was overpowered by the roaring of the engines and the conversation among us that I couldn't really hear what the radio is sounding about.
But anyway, I doubt it will be feasible since ppl tend to have their own form of entertainment, be it iPods, sleep, stoning, chit-chatting or simply appreciating the engine sounds.

Irritation aside,
I kind of like the show.

For me Just For Laughs is one of the best way to get ppl to be happy when onboard the bus. JFL doesnt take 1/2 hour either; just like 5 mins of JFL and it ends.
anyone seen the chew on it in sundays newspaper?

Yeah, it was damn funny :D the 'exterior ad on window part' is the funniest.
anybody has 9802's one?
some working TV mobile shots taken recently. pardon the copyright tag haha.
SD is kinda 'difficult' to snap :S
Doesn't matter, my mp3s sound nicer and it will not need buffering time and those noise that they make when buffering is needed.
Today is the last day...
