Bus made a fast late left turn and threw 5 passengers out of their seats. An old lady was injured and an ambulance was called in. Ambulance arrived at 10 am at the Raffles Hotel bus stop along Beach Rd since the bus was told to stop there. Traffic Controller from SBST arrived on motorbike. In all, 2 passengers suffered back pain whereas the injured passenger was brought to a nearby hospital. Complimentary Tickets were given out. Bus driven by a PRC.

Today, a SMRT bendy bus brokedown at Boon Lay Interchange, B5. This happened at around 7 pm.
The driver help to direct passenger to the bus.

Upper Bukit Timah Road towards Clementi MRT at 1530 hrs on 24/02/2010.
Fault Problem: Back Engine Problem.

has a horrible screeching sound while the bus is moving. Bus did not breakdown, but the screeching sounds seem serious.

Is it the fan belt? I encountered it once before on a DM3500. After screeching for more than a minute or two, white smoke started billowing out the sides of the bus and through the floorboards. The BC stopped the bus, turned off the engine and declared engine overheat.

I thought white smoke is caused by coolant entering the engine and being combusted with the fuel?
a bendy ,breakdown at ymca. spotted at 7.40pm. rego was blocked. breakdown triangle was placed behind the bus.

SBS311D (AMDEP SP) broke down at bus stop along Upper Paya Lebar Rd.
Breakdown triangle was placed @ rear of the bus, front desto removed & recovery truck was at scene.
Time of spotting approx 11+am

Unlikely. Not sure if there's something below the bus. The bus stopped the screeching sound when it stopped to pick up passengers and the sound continues after the bus moves off...
But doesnt sound too much of a type burst though.

SBS3883 travelling along Amk Ave 6 at around 1pm with no desto, and with rear bumper missing....

SBS 9817C (BR 143) stopped at Far East Bus stop along Scotts RD at about 7.30pm. Police was onboard questioning a middle age man at the rear.
TIB459T 969 broke down at Lentor Ave. 9.45pm.

Saw 9817C still running towards JE at 11 plus
TIB598A(KJDEP 75) but should be cameo, breakdown at outside CK TANGS bus stop at 7.30PM, the back cover was opened.

Tib 647s - svc167 (SBS 8852G svc 162M was behind) some passenger transfer to svc 162M ( be4 somerset MRT Station - going 2wards sembawang direction)
SBS9420M kenna langa near BNDEP in the morning. Bus was replaced by SBS7417L
