It was. 1st Bus from Woodlands this morning. How come today 178 getting breakdowns. I suspect TIB638T (perm slot first bus from CIQ) broke down today because the first bus from Woodlands CIQ didn't came at all. Scheduled to reach my house at 535hrs but failed to reach even 7 mins after the scheduled time of arrival. -

seems that SMRT is trying to cut down on mercz cameos on 178 though

Broke down 2 stops before SBST HGDEP towards Bedok Int
Engine cover was open.
SL was in his seat waiting for mechanics, no one was on board.

Time and Status: 4:30 p.m., being towed away by Scania tow truck from Buangkok Link -
Unknown WA Scania on 852 broke down at the bus stop near Yio Chu Kang MRT,breakdown reason unknown,EDS off.

SMB115M got abit of damaged to the side bottom of the body. It was torn and crampled, but still on service 190 today.
TIB510C brokedown at W'lands Ave 3, beside Blk 350 which is just before the first bus stop from WRI. Cause was the exhaust pipe dropped on the road, dangling like what happened to TIB988H. Bus was spotted going back to WLDEP about 15 mins later.
TIB1247G brokwdown at Admiralty Rd West when doing 856. Cause was engine overheated. It was back in service 856 during the evening.

Mind you if im wrong, but i think its because it did 172 that time while going out of temp boon lay int, the BC probably forgotten to rise up the bus before going off from the berth. SMB39A once did 172 alot of times and there were alot of scratches on the back until it needed a replacement.

SBS 5060U(AMDEP 58)spotted on SBST Tow truck along Ang Mo Kio Ave 5 towards AMDEP at about 3.15pm
EDS displayed Full 58 route details towards Bishan . Any idea where it broke down? -

SMB90A (KJDEP 970) met into an accident with a Comfort Taxi after CCK Park bus stop while doing 307. Replacement bus was TIB543H.

SBS823T on 175 broke doen 1 stop before Bukit Merah Interchange. Lights are off, desto removed and passengers transferred to another bus. Occured at 20:45

Just now at about 7.35pm. The tow truck was lifting TIB816X up and down, trying to get the correct height before moving off. Whole bus stop was blocked by the tow truck, TIB816X and SMRT mechanic lorry. -

By the way, took TIB816X that did 858 on Sunday, the engine suffered a very long distance run, and the sound already giving the problem. -
