Accident and Breakdown Thread 2010

  TIB850X (WL 964) broke down today while on 964.Engine Cover opened,EDS showed off service,no pax on board,BC in the bus checking the bus.

  TIB823A on 700, brokedown at Bt. Panjang CC busstop at 7.18pm. It just happened when the bus i took, TIB525K on 963, stopped behind TIB823A for about 4 mins and a corwd of passengers alighted.

  A lady with the complimentary ticket boarded TIB525K instead as she was going to W'lands.

  SBS 338C broke down at the bus stop before aljunied MRT stn..

  Pax from that bus transfer to board SBS 8587Y (BR 63)

  SBS7301L (AMDEP 21) broke down at exit of Pasir Ris Int leaving only one lane passable to both buses turning right & left..

  Front desto was flipped & time of spotting was 1702hrs..

  sry but I don't really understand what you meant..
  suspected engine failure, BC tried to start engine several times but no luck..

  I think he meant that the bus collided with something then out of service

  To c751LoVuR : A bus can breakdown because of many reasons,overheating is one of them,engine failure can also be another,there are quite alot of reasons.

  Wat time did it breakdown?Cuz i took it from Eunos Int at 4.12pm (time according to the ticket).And was the BC a young guy wit flat brown hair and wearing black specs??

  SBS7483U broke down at junction of AMK Ave 6 and 9 (after departing depot) this morning @ 6.30am.

  SBS 9519M (BNDEP 10)

  Breakdown along Upp Changi Rd with destos taken off and BC sitting at bus stop.

  Time of Witness is 2042Hours.

  SBS 9343C(BRBP 88)while doing Svc 88 towards Toa Payoh , broke down along Ang Mo Kio Ave 3 at 1.30pm

  At that time of witness , front and rear destos were not taken off yet and breakdown triangle was seen behind the bus

  Collided with a red toyota altis near the tpe expressway intersection/flyover.

  Front right bumper damaged. Car's door dented. Kub's door not sure whether damaged.

  BC was in his seat, EDS showed 'sbs transit'

  Police on site investigating.

  Spotted @ 1800Hrs.
