Shouldn't you blame yourself instead for not standing with your legs wide open and snap when you saw it?
There is nothing wrong with busmanic's statement for the statement you made earlier was not logical.
And please do not use human as example to compare to a bus. This is absurd.
ah, today bus get its blues, rail gets its reds, lol
Blue: SBS2786D breakdown
Red: Circle Line opens
or rather SBST or SMRT ![]()

sounds more like brakes failure, as it alr hit 3 cars bef hitting the bus stop. Probably the BC panic then hit the bus stop instead of heading straight for it to slow down create less impact.
haiz...brakes failure...from a depot that was said to b good...
Abit off topic... wonder is this simillar braking case happen to the KMB 3ASV KPxxx (forgot rego) on Route 270A in 2006...

The BC should have only realised the brake failure after the bus left the previous bus stop. I think he might have panicked and didn't considered the hand brake because it was also very dangerous to do so at that the speed the bus was cruising.
I saw that accident, quite bad. The whole front of the bus was totally wrecked. The roof of the bus stop kind of like "pierced" into the top of the windscreen... and the bus stop roof was slanted cos the poles holding it up was slanted from the impact
Was on 854 - SMB54G
Thank goodness it wasnt raining.

sekali SLBP got surprise; install EDS on this bus just like 2779A (:
Anyway, today:
TIB481C (AMDEP 961) brokedown at Queensway bus stop at around 5 plus today while doing 961. Tyre burst was the cause of the incident. Bus totally tilted to the right & SMRT small maintenance truck came to attend it. Many pieces of rubber from the wheel were strewn all over the floor.
