SBS Transit gets 6 buses (SBS7440T, SBS9163E, SBS9174Z, SBS9188J, SBS9619H, SBS9888Y) burned, 1 bus knocked into bus stop (SBS2786D) and 1 bus knocked into a tree (SBS2812L) and a motorcycle crashed into 1 bus (Unknown).
SMRT Buses gets 1 bus (TIB992U) killing a maid, another knocking into a taxi (TIB997G).

don't our reporters learn how to create a sentence that does not speculate who to blame? -

there are many many more accidents which you are not aware or not reported.

It sounds more professional than "SMRT bus bangs into taxi".
You can't actually tell anything from that statement actually.....so one would have to be lacking in analytical skills if he/she jumps to that conclusion.
Even if it says "taxi collides with SMRT bus", you can still draw the conclusion that SMRT bus is at fault. The arrangement of words doesn't matter if you're biased.
Its not the newspaper's fault if they only report information on hand ( eg SMRT driver gets suspended while no news on the taxi driver). Its not the job of reporters to speculate: Its likely that the taxi driver faces sacking etc. With the limited space, it wasn't surprising that they did not add: Cabby could not be reached for comments etc.
Its the readers' duty to think critically.

TIB1231B on 812 involved with an accident with a pedestrian at junction of Yishun Ring Rd & St 61 just an hour ago.
Ring Rd towards Ave 4 and St 61 turning left to Ring Rd were sealed off to traffic. Service to 812 is currently suspended as other buses cannot turn due to the bendy blocking off both lanes of Ring Rd.

It is at the junction of Yishun Ring Rd & St 61.
Spotted it while travelling on 812 (TIB1176C) at 10am. Bus had already moved to the left lane of Yishun Ring Rd together with 2 SMRT vehicles, 1 tow truck and 2/3 TP. Hence, service 812 resume. But one SMRT personnel (Yishun Int staff, wearing tie) was still standing along St 61 directing buses. TP taking statement of SL. Hope the pedestrian is alright.
3rd accident in a week invloving SMRT buses, each from different area (CCK, Woodlands and now Yishun)..haiz

SBS9817C (BRBP 143) declared breakdown at Toa Payoh Int due to a faulty air-con, time of spotting was at 1350hrs..

SBS 7335P(BBDEP 147) on an unknown service broke down along Jalan Toa Payoh at 6.40am
At that time of witness, front,rear and side desto had taken out,breakdown triangle can be seen at the back of the bus and engine compartment was opened

TIB763P (WL 961/190) on Unknown service at Woodlands Ave 7 broke down at the bus stop opp Admiralty Station. EDS showed off service,desto taken off,all doors open,engine cover opened,bus able to move (becaues it was able to reverse) SMRT maintenance truck behind,BC no where to be found (so it was one of the maintenance person driving the bus)

SBS9329U brokedown at Hougang Bus Int at 10am plus... a orange cone was placed instead of a triangle and the offside of the cover was open... after that a private tow truck was seen towning back to HGDEP...

It's the 3rd time i saw a bus breakdown at the same spot

Unknown JB mark 3 broke down along Hougang Ave 8 at about 12pm today.
Either Sv 74 or 147.
