  has to be that bloody MRT pillar that blocks driver's view. It a blind spot waiting for serious incidents to happen only.

  Anyway, guess the reason was that the interior had a very weird smell coming from the motor, like burning glue. It also gave out a whisling and rusty sound. These were what I had observed from HBF Int.

  Crane hits bus, man dies

  A BUS commuter died and three other passengers were injured when a lorry carrying a crane hit a double-decker bus along Bedok North Road on Friday afternoon.

  The collision happened at about 3.30 pm. The three injured commuters were taken to hospital.

  Residents in the area said they heard a loud crash, followed by shattering of glass windows.

  TIB1069D [WLDEP/WRDEP 913] broke down at Woodlands Ave 6 at the bus stop in the direction of Woodlands Ave 9, just before the traffic junction at Woodlands Street 61. The EDS is blank when spotted.

The accident occured today at Bedok North, in front of Block 44 at 3.30pm. The treecutter vehicle apparantly smashed the whole row of windows of the upper deck of a SBS Transit Service 87 double decker, causing 7 serious injured cases and one fatal case. What a freak accident by that treecutter driver! That 50 year old Malay passenger just died like that! Pathetic!

  But what about the other side of the window beside the last row of seats. From the news pic, the other side also got smashed.

  How is it possible that it got rip on the other side too?
