TIB619 on Sv167 got into an accident with a car at around 9.05pm at Thomson Road towards sembawang (just after balesteir road junction, outside that singtel building, before the side road towards CJC).. Bus was at left lane... and the front bumper almost dropped off. Seem like the car was cutting in from 2nd lane (from left) into Whitley road (towards CJC), even though there is DOUBLE white line... SL was seen taking photos and talking to the driver... cause a bit of traffic jam..

The bus is mechanically fine, it's just the Bus Captain that is not alright.
Bus was involved in a road traffic accident involving a pedestrian that was knocked down by the bus and died on the spot at the junction of Bayfront Ave and Temasek Ave / Raffles Ave towards Temasek Ave.
Happened around 0930 hours to 0940 hours. One Motoring notice appeared at 0940 hours.
At noon, bus was still parked there with TP notice clamped to the windscreen using the wiper. Body was still at the scene covered with the usual blue Police tent.
