This is what happens when buses doesn't have enough rest.Today, 3 breakdowns for 178, first was 637X (TIB729P replaced it later on), second was TIB639R, the AM03/PM03 SL kept staying there for I guess about an hour, still stranded though. Another one was TIB568L, again on 178, declared not fit for revenue service at WLDS center road and headed back to depot. Saw TIB727U coming down to do Boon Lay just for the last trip for Boon Lay where TIB794A can have a half-hour break and just nice have its last trip

SBS8408G sv100 broke down os Victoria Concert Hall bus stop 1810hrs, no breakdown sign was put but engine cover lifted, hazard lights on
SBS7359X sv14 broke down along Mountbatten Rd[Before Walton Rd] 1840hrs, breakdown sign was placed behind bus, hazard lights on -

It was stranded there about 1400+, I thought no bus for the AM05/PM05 178 for today but it was this bus who did it.

855 bus (with tiger beer ad) broke down. Now at harbourfont int being towed away. Buses reversing had probs cause the towtruck n 855 bus blocking their way. Rws8 buses that were at hbf int was caught in the jam too.

This morning got another SBS bus breakdown inside, saw recovery truck and mechanics changing pass.

SBS7888K broke down along changi road, yesterday, 12/12/10 in the direction to AMK Int.
At noon, recovery truck was spotted and in process of towing. -

An SMRT bus 985 was involved in a 3-vehicle pile-up on the PIE towards city direction, near the Stevens Rd exit yesterday at 10am. The bus was travelling on the 2nd lane when the front doors suddenly opened. The bus driver braked while trying to figure out what's wrong. Unfortunately, the 2 lorries behind failed to stop in time.
The 1st lorry with a crane attached swerved and hit the right side of the bus. The 1st lorry was then hit by a NTUC lorry behind. A passenger on the NTUC lorry was injured. The accident caused a massive jam, traffic snaked all the way back to Ngee Ann Poly. A bus passenger said the bus driver did not brake hard, the bus just slow down gradually. SMRT and the police are investigating.

SL slacking ard, engine cover opened.
Bus was switched off, witnessed 730pm.

Was on 925 (last bus) (21/12/10) from CCK to WDL Int . While passing by kranji factories area i saw a SMRT OC inside. Guess should be SMB 76S. The whole front is now new but didnt really see the whole bus fully as 925 drove pass speeding.
