I think you should know that Yishun is split between AM and WL right...

Do you understand the term "headway"? If not, please do not anyhow use it as and when it sounds good to you.Headway is the time period in between any 2 buses. 42 mins and 50 mins don't sound like headways.
sv 115. HAHAH

Wassup bro! :)
Wonder which depot control RWS88 & RWS68?
Think might be a matter of time before they realize they're short and need to 'borrow' the Yutong from non-WAB 854...

Not necessary, SMRT can always put up their notices at all the bus interchanges under their control. Also to add on that WLDEP BCs are also at Yishun interchanges too - services 852, 856 and 857 are among the Yishun services that are under WLDEP controlled.
If AMDEP is gonna control all RWS + 963R service, I bet there is gonna be some rigids transfer to AMDEP from WLDEP & KJDEP.

If you notice, only AMDEP OCs with PIS are used on RWS8. So if that's any kind of indication... You can think which other depot has their OCs installed with PIS. All I can say is AMDEP will not be controlling all the RWS fleet.

Unlikely. 963R high chance of getting control from KJDEP or WLDEP.
If not, AMDEP already has enough OC500LEs to be deployed on 963R.

Can last minute add in the PIS one.

Originally posted by off_service:For everyone who is calling SMRT "irresponsible" to operate the RWS services, I would like everyone to read the tender for the shuttle services and it's T&Cs.
Apparently RWS shuttle tender had strict T&Cs on the kinds of buses used. The following are some of the terms:
1. Buses cannot be used to ferry students or workers (Private coaches out).
2. Buses cannot be above 5 years of age. (PA Lances, MB O405s out).
3. Buses must have public announcement systems. (All other models out).
Look at these criteria, it seems that only SMRT's OCs can meet them. Furthermore, only RWS8 operates daily. Since lesser buses are used during weekends, I don't see the need to cry over them operating the RWS shuttles.
I will only disagree if they deploy new Citaros on the shuttle.
RWS is simply killing themselves in the long run for such condition does not even make it condusive for it to be called 'public bus services'
Lesser buses are used over weekends is true, but wat abt weekdays? Alrdy Sv 67 has capacity crunch yet RWS8 can be given 4 mins freq
Another thing, tat Vivo bus stop should not be even used for the shuttle.
That bus stop is so busy alrdy, how are e trunk svs going to be able to turn out smoothly and fast to e bus lane esp during peak hrs?
It's unless bus stops are rationalised and HBF one is given up for RWS shuttle.
Hopefully SMRT is not going to take Airshow shuttle, else it's going to make commuters to suffer

i believer 963R will use the buses from 963E and a few 963 buses.

Airshow shuttle is confirmed taken by SMRT. if not, why are the ads there for? those buses with the 'Too Hot to Miss' ad will be used as Airshow shuttle.
