just now at 5.30pm, saw SBS7333U on 151 stucked at NP bus stop for 10 mins cos the bus cannot move. also heard a continuous beeping sound coming from the bus due to the dislodged emergency hammer. the sound was gone after the BC secured the hammer in place, however the bus still cannot move. the BC keep revving the engine, the bus still won't move. it was when SBS8442G arrived only then the bus be able to move off.
SBS8442G later overtake SBS7333U along Dunearn Rd and i never saw SBS7333U anymore.

actually you answered your own question lol... "the sound was gone after the BC secured the hammer in place, however the bus still cannot move". that statement shows that the bus wasnt able to move even when the hammer is put back lol

oops... so the bus cant move is due to something else, not the hammer.....
did not see 7333 return to hougang int even after 15 mins i reached the interchange. maybe it broke down somewhere

The 98 destos may have came from 9089L and 9123X. I remember 9153J had 51 rear desto on when the 3 of them came amdep on the saturday. -
yesterday....at around 6.35pm, spotted a long queue of buses along Queensway, waiting to enter the bus stop at Queensway (outside Queensway hostal , after commonwealth drive BS11041)
1st two bus, is 961 (volgren merc), 196 (mk 3), then follow by sv147 DD (VO3x), sv855 lance, sv 198 B9, Sv100 KUB , Sv 51 DD , Sv 93 strider, Sv61 Merc , Sv 123 KUB. only short of Sv153 bus.....

9214S had 179 front desto when it was transferred over to hgdep for 161 iirc.Maybe the driver didn't check while shifting the buses. We are used to slbp using recycled desto.

dunno has it to do w/ 16 mins freq, been noticing at 10am+, 154 en-route NP towards Eunos can be very packed
