  A better deployment for 969 without affecting the WAB quota or adding more buses. I feel that 969 needs OCs more than RWS8, while RWS8 can use the newer MAN buses. For WLDEP side, since the Hispano Mk1s has higher capacity, and the Volgren can fit around 2-3 passengers more due to side facing seats at the rear, it is better to deploy them and keep the Habits as spares instead. As for SMB4A, a MAN should replace it for training so as to not waste the capacity of the OC.

  SMB1H is demonstrator, least likely will be on any route. Esp. JB routes... This route is already WAB. When its WAB there is NO, I repeat NO non-WAB buses. But your deployment is okay okay.

  @SBS9C, I doubt MANs can't be on RWS due to their "hair". If not SMRT would hv deployed it alrdy.

  Why not? OC is almost as tall as MAN. Also 963R uses a full MAN fleet.

  But that might be temporary, as they can't scrap all the non-WABs at one shot. The non-WABs have to be deployed somewhere...

  I strongly agree with you. It is really a very bad move to extend them and causing some services not getting upgraded.

  And now that many services in Sengkang are already WAB (including SMRT service 965), I also hope for 161 to go WAB too.
