I do think though in due course sv 49 will require WEGs. For st 41 and 42, Lakeside is a much closer MRT than Jurong East and I see a significant number of people transferring from sv 334 to sv 49.
As of today, sv 334 is crazy crowded. Just observed evening peak and if anyone is interested can share by timing. There was a bus every 07-08 mins and each one took around 100 pax from the interchange itself. I wonder what people were doing when 334 was just a 2 DD fleet.
So I feel while 49 will take away a good load, 334 will have other users from Jurong East Ave 1, Boon Lay Way taking more of 334 and it will maintain a healthy 80+ loading. So don't see any of the DDs going away for 334.

Depends on how long 371 bus service will be and what it will be (trunk or feeder?). But since other depots and bus parks seem to have no trouble coping with the BSEP services of their own (I'm looking at you, 49), possibly so.
