The buses listed above are based on the de-registration date of the buses to be taken out.
Assuming the next batches registered are:
20 Oct 2014: SMB5012T - SMB5018C
22 Oct 2014: SMB5019A
1 Nov 2014: SMB5020U - SMB5027B
5 Nov 2014: SMB5028Z - SMB5030R
16 Nov 2014: SMB5031M
17 Nov 2014: SMB5032K - SMB5034E
11 Dec 2014: SMB5035C - SMB5050H
Would this pace be good enough?

De-register the O405s earlier.
969 dont need DDs for full day.
317 to 321 shall stay as it is, DD will be a waste of resource if used as full day bus. All the MAN will stay. DDs are only needed during peak hour.
DDs can replace the bendies but not the MAN. Plz ride on 969 around the clock and observe the loading of the bus
The MAN situation is chaotic. There are a total of 44 spare WAB buses altgether in all the depots.
SMRT can start laying up their O405s just like SBST lays up their B10Ms
The MAN will replace the 0405 in due time. 44 is very little lah for me, it is enough to replace only 44 buses that is undergoing maintennance for the day

This includes SMB5003U

There are 12 MANs to be deployed.

I know but nevertheless all of them gonna replace the outgoing 0405s slowly but surely
969 still need at least 4 full day DDs,There are unexpecting loads..its a cashcow service in fact better loadings during off peaks compare to 190..

I took 969 at different times of the day including last bus
Night time: All seated with some people standing,
Afternoon off peak: Same loading observed from the full trip
I have never seen 969 crowded to the door during those 2 periods of time,
the major pitstop are at Admiralty MRT,Chong Pang, Yishun MRT and Khatib MRT.
The crowd mainly comes btwn Khatib and Chong Pang as that is the fastest svc to Chong Pang. After Chong Pang the crowd toned down as 965 also parallels with 969 till WRI
So i dont think DDs are needed for AP shift. All the MAN can still manage the load during off peak
Just 2 A/P DDs will make the deal for 969...
