I was hoping to see the Mercedes-Benz Citaro buses on new bus service 258, because this bus model is rarely seen in Jurong West Extension (Boon Lay and Pioneer). I am disappointed that the Volvo Wright buses are deployed instead. Nonetheless, considering there is high demand for bus service 258 during peak periods, I think the Volvo Wright buses are more appropriate for bus service 258.
Well, I know the Scania KUB buses have to go somewhere. Personally, I feel that the Scania KUB buses are more comfortable than the Mercedes-Benz Citaro buses because the seats have more friction and the air-conditioning is stronger. Thank goodness the Scania KUB buses are a common sight in this part of Jurong West.
It would be good if bus service 243 is all-KUB and bus service 258 is all-Citaro, for I can take bus service 243 when I feel like riding on a KUB, and I can take bus service 258 when I feel like riding on a Citaro. LOL.
Okay. I know that unless there is route amendments to bus service 243 and/or 258 to reduce the demand for this (these) bus service(s), this will never happen. Haha. ;)

This one i agree but one thing, 858 will have too much buses, 30 buses is a lot. It is possible that 1378,1379,1384,1486 will replaced by the 4 bendies to reduce bunching especially at a tight space like airport

For me, I would choose to alternate between bendy and rigid where the bendies are spaced apart between 3-4 rigids during peak hours (based on sgwiki fleet info, 22 AP / 8 S1), 2 of the daily bendies could operate on S shift while the rest could operate on AP/T shifts.
I do agree with you that 858 could reduce the number of buses if given more bendies though.

Actually the 3 bendies are spaced out between rigids by 30 mins difference currently, confirm will never bunch unless suay jam then bunch haha
