  Nothing to do with Voith gearbox when your engine rpm is restricted,Even you put ZF also not much different,ZF tend to change 1-2-3 gear faster while Voith peak power came after 2nd gear..More or less not much different.Its the maintenance and tuning that make the difference.Last time Volvo MK III with Voith 3 speed also can chiong and have faster pick up.
