Third Quarter 2010 Financial StatementsGroup revenue of $184.9m for 3Q10 increased by 6.0% (or $10.6m) from $174.3m in 3Q09 due mainly to higher bus and rail fare revenue and higher advertisement revenue.
Revenue from Bus Operations for 3Q10 at $140.2m was higher by 2.9% or $3.9m due mainly to the increase in average daily ridership of 5.7% as compared to 3Q09. Operating profit for 3Q10 of $3.0m increased by 91.4% or $1.4m from $1.6m in 3Q09 due mainly to higher bus fare revenue and lower repairs and maintenance costs, partially offset by higher premises costs, higher depreciation expense and higher other operating expenses.
REVIEW OF GROUP PERFORMANCE
Operating expenses of $169.1m for 3Q10 increased by 4.1% or $6.7m from $162.4m in 3Q09 due mainly to higher premises costs, higher fuel and electricity costs, higher depreciation expense and higher other operating expenses, partially offset by lower repairs and maintenance costs. The significant increase in premises costs was due mainly to the higher maintenance including security fencing costs and the absence of the rebates from Singapore Government

Feeder 225 likely to get those former AMDEP EEVs.

I wonder if the EEVs in HGDEP/BBDEP are enough to cover for service 151's WAB fleet or not. Also note that about half of 151's fleet is made up of s-shifts, and on weekends operated with lesser 12-14 fleets. Perhaps those remaining MK4s should be thrown to s-shift on weekdays and run as spare on weekends.Think HGDEP can also deploy SBS7311H to service 151 as well
