06171 will be skipped for 143 only as it turns left from Eu Tong Sen St to Upp Cross St, of which Eu Tong Sen St is closed for that segment leading to 143 having to turn left to Outram Rd earlier and not having to call at 06171 and the People's Park Complex stop. The other 3 trunk services calling there 51 174 186 are not affected. The road closure itself doesnt affect these services at all so going by your logic 51 and 186 are also left out?Please read the press release properly again.

oh, you are right! But the table in the press release is rather confusing and misleding. They should had placed affected bus services first then road then bus stop then time. This is because affected bus service is mentioned at the beginning. -

actually there has been many road closures in that area for a million times. Its pretty standard where the buses will ply if you know which specific roads are closed.. Only diff is that this road closure extends till Mounbatten and Tg Rhu area.. -

Lol. It came out of WLDEP at about 11.50am after final check i guess, then head to AMDEP, then Yishun Int. -
291/293/72 Road Diversion (North East Run) 6.55am - 9am - 14 March 2010
291 will loop only at St 81, then turn right at Ave 3, then left to St 83, Skipping St 84.
293 will totally skip its west loop and loop at st 81 (The opp side). So there will be 291 and 293 on st 81.
72 will take the '969' route to ctrl 3, ave 7. -

However, I find it dubious. The press release did not mention that it will be placed on 855 as a trial service, it said that "it will be tested on various trunk and feeder services". -

Okay... but I rmb seeing the bus EDS displayed as 'SMRT BUSES' heading towards direction of Lentor later in the day. So I guess teh bus must be heading back to AMDEP again? :S -

Sembawang Way (Sembawang MRT)
Canberra Road
Sembawang Road (Sembawang Shopping Centre)
Yishun Central 2 (Khoo Teck Puat Hospital)
from 28 March. The service will skip the pair of existing stops at Gambas Ave.
The first bus timing will be brought forward to 0515 hours.
Notice up at affected bus stops.
