Rich people don't need bus but their maids do. Its more convenient for them to take svc354 to the interchange to buy groceries. And some maids also depend on public buses to fetch their wards to and from schools. Hope this help to boost riderships.

The loop point looks a little dangerous for buses to reverse. If someone from the condo just walk out, the bus blind spot may miss them. And also the likeyhood of illegal parking around this area that makes buses difficult to make u-turn. LTA should have made a roundabout there instead.
for all u know they widened the area recently?

when i was there, a lorry was parking at the space where the bus is supposed to head-in before reversing out.
the entrance/exit to the condo at the end... i suspect some rich idiot kia will just try to zoom off behind the bus whilst the bus is reversing.
illegal parking is rampant along the stretch after the traffic junction with psr dr 4 extension coz subcontractors park lorries outside the condominium construction.

It meets cos got S15 xover.. last night the e-tt wasnt up and its up today. I thought dont need additional bus during peak if the run time is 10min flat from Pasir Ris to looping point. What a feat! haha. Thanks to this S15 gets 1 trip lesser in the 6am hour and they removed the 2 evening downroutes from Eunos MRT to Pasir Ris. However, they replaced the 2 evening downroutes with addition of 1 full trip between 1800-1845hrs.
Sat Sun unchanged with 2 A/P running all day. Means frequency dipped.
sv 15 can tahan x-over? i feel that during pm peak it cannot cope loading at kaki bukit, temasek poly area le. more complaints about sv 15 coming soon? haha

my guess is that it will be applied to sv 133 too. not sure about how the route of sv 97/e will be.
source from marina bay sands website:
GETTING THERE
Circle Line: Alight at Promenade MRT Station and take a 10-minute walk from the station to Bayfront Avenue via the pedestrian footpath adjacent to the public road.
North South Line: Alight at Marina Bay MRT Station and board the public buses (SBS 133, SBS 97, SBS 97e, SMRT 106) from the bus stop outside the station.
time to take out K310UD!

Should have been 960 instead. The current 106 route is even longer than 960.

Road link to upcoming developments in Marina Bay opens this Sunday
By Jessica Yeo | Posted: 20 April 2010 2029 hrs
SINGAPORE : The new 1.3-kilometre road link to Marina Bay opens on
Sunday.
The Land Transport Authority (LTA) says it will improve road access to
upcoming developments such as the Marina Bay Sands and the Marina Bay
Financial Centre.
The road will provide a direct link between Temasek Avenue and Central
Boulevard, as well as Marina Boulevard.
It is made up of a bridge across Marina Bay, and a newly constructed
Bayfront Avenue.
Eight public bus services will also be re-routed to ply through this
network.
The buses will commence from Jurong East (97??), Ang Mo Kio (133??), Pioneer Road
North (?) , Pasir Ris (?) and Bukit Batok (106).
The road, which provides an alternative route to the Central Business
District, will have an ERP gantry along Bayfront Avenue towards Temasek
Avenue starting next Monday, April 26.
Overseas guests arriving at Changi Airport can make use of the Marina
Bay Sands Airport Shuttle Bus, which runs over 40 times a day, to get to
the Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort.
There are 15 coaches in total and will run at 10-minute intervals during
peak periods.
Parking at the Integrated Resort starts at S$8 per hour and carpooling
is advised due to limited parking spaces.
Drivers can opt to park at the satellite car park at Marina South and
pay $10 for the parking and usage of the Marina Bay Sands shuttle bus.
Commuters can also choose to go on foot via the pedestrian footpath
adjacent to the new bridge and Bayfront Avenue. - CNA /ls
