your logic at where you're coming from needs some rethinking. Its a very practical move for them to do that. Gain one more bus under their holding without losing a Merc.

It makes a difference when there's a shortage of ezlink readers to go around. Transferring the readers from one bus to another requires more work than just commerce a new bus into training duties directly without installing them.

I would rather see k230 do training than a merc. Especially the 5000 series, they are so much more underpowered.
