Maybe the looping point for the temporary 179 is not DD-friendly or demand for 179 is lower during YOG...

i say both 9646 and 7888 shld do sv25 perm, given their S shift demands.

no offences but IMO Sv 25 should be using LO3X or Batch 1 VO3x instead. It is a waster using new DDs on 25 as
1) It doesn't ply city area
2) The route is quite short
3) It is not a WAB service

Exactly.Tdy was my 1st time taking 7888K and i really enjoyed the ride.The bus can really perform very well.It wld b really nice for the bus also if it can get to run longer on a more long haul svc.

about 40% of the 179 fleet is already on spare status when NTU are having holidays. Now with YOG the remainder is temporarily removed from 179.
So for this month be prepared to see more DDs on services with partial SD fleet.

*sigh* really wasted lor to have redeployed it to sv25, haven't even tried riding on the kud although 133 is one of the services i frequent the most. wonder how long is it going to stay as sv25 perm..
You won't die just because the bus is redeployed to 25. And neither is 25 a lousy service to begin with. Don't ridicule yourself with your misconceptions. Just get that demo bus moving will do.

I feel they put it on 25 because most commuters haven chosen the bus over MRT.... duplicates Circle Line in a way.... plus competes with 854 to some extent.... which justifies why they have to make the service comfortable.... putting it on 161 or 168 would be nice though... LOL... =)
I say it once more. The depot fire is purely coincidence which it happened on Sv 25 parking lot in AMDEP. Don't keep using the depot fire as an excuse to not deploy bus to Sv 25. Seriously, I do not understand some people stupid brains on why people must argue here and there of why must this bus go this service must go that service don't perm this service don't perm that service etc. First and foremost, it's not as if the bus will be taken out and you won't get to ride on it anymore. I don't see any problem deploying the bus on Sv 25 though. Be it Sv 133, Sv 25 etc the bus itself you all can catch it at AMK INT. For those who are not happy of the bus being deployed on Sv 25, either live with it or don't take it for goodness sake.

Sv72/76/21/88 all should not be using B9 as well, since they do not ply City Area if your logic is true..
Sv25 is a cash cow service and there are reasons why it have VSO, and then B9 fleet.
This SBS7888K is on trial, that why it is being put on different service to try out. Who know it might go onto another service two months later.

in my opinion, Sv88 did have high demand, but i think its demand is not higher than sv25 or sv72.. Both Sv25/72/88 have around 25 buses (of which 20-21 are DD per service). but distance covered by Sv 25 is 14.7km one way, Sv 72 - 17km, Sv88 - 24 km...
if sv88 did have higher demand, then it should have more buses as compare to Sv25/72 as the distance travelled is much longer and so as to maintain the same frequency as sv25/72.
