Morning trips for 153 from Bukit Merah to Hougang Central Int is usually empty, with good frequencies (3-4 minutes)... With this move, the whole bus will be filled with commuters.... no more 1 seat for everybody liao....
But I wonder how the bus is going to cope with the Hougang Central to Bukit Merah trips... the bus is usually full with sitting commuters in the morning.....

The services which I find very tedious to follow are 961, 962, 966, 969. And that is why with effect from today, I shall no longer post any re-deployment stuff here. EXCEPT if there is news that I have confirmed. If not, I guess now the way to track deployments is just either by ignoring them or getting yourselves worked over it...

Apologies to SMB66X and anyone else whom I doubted... I suspect SMB132M SMB133K are 187, if the deployment is such.
Never mind, it is okay.
SMB132M and SMB133K already 187 splitters to replace missing slots. SMB134H I doubt 187 perm, should be still spare now. Ever since 119C to 122S went over 960, 187 still faces shortage of perm buses. Empty slots should be covered by random merczs currently. So, 187 is short of 1 perm bendy now ever since TIB1070Z went over 911. Hope TIB1105H comes back. Lastly, TIB1070Z is meant for fleet upgrade for 911 due to the demand.
Don't really understand why 852 fleet downgrade (From Scanias to UDs), still got demand de. SMRTB should have just put UDs on 981 instead....
Suspect 852 only run 11 buses due to Sch Wk Schedule (10 A/P + 1 S) instead of normal 10 A/P + 2S. So, CSS185P never reflected on YIBP roster currently. Am I right?
End up only 1 DD Block (Aircon) for each of the JIS (except 246, 251).........

That makes up of less than 15% aircon fleet, sad. Pity those passengers working in Tuas. The only chance for JIS to upgrade to FAC fleet is only when the VO2x goes off...

No choice. SLBP had to make use of excess spare VO2xs which were x-fered from 74 and 93 after they became FAC services.

9056 and 9062 refurbished liao. SBST had done refurbishment till 9199C for most of LO3xs.

Somehow I feel that SBST should have refurbished the LO3x and transfer all of them to SLBP to run on JIS services. The Volvo MK3s and NAC VO2x should go off instead.

Fleet upgrade for Jurong East Feeders easier!!! 240 and 334 should need at least 1 to 2 DD for S Split blocks to supplement the crowds (Even though they already WAB services)

Agreed... It will sure face problems with the Nissan UDs along Bt Timah stretch during peak hours. I feel that TIB840A should go back to service 852 perm to replace TIB1255H now that it is refurbished.

Those days when feeders 240 and 334 had NAC LO2x, became a full SD fleet after the LO2x were phased out.

First was 178 getting fleet downgrade in 2006 - if I am not wrong, Now it is 852 getting what 178 did 4 years back.
Seems like 980,178 and 852 isn't liked by SMRT much though.

Situations for service 980 has improved a bit after the mass layup of Nissan UDs in late 2008. There was also once in mid 2006 when 980 under WLDEP also kana those CSS rego Nissan UDs replacing all the Scania Striders, after a period of time things went back to normal.
Service 852 those days under AMDEP/KJDEP was much better, WLDEP taking over full control had cause a massive appearance of Nissan UDs on 852 since then.
Add on for service 853 which SMRT also like to dump Nissan UDs too till today.

So when did mercz started getting common on 980? 2006 onwards or 2008?
Note that I did not take 853 in is because of the mercz intakes though.

Actually service 980 all these while has 1 solo Merc perm. Initially was TIB503Z way back in 2001, then swopped with TIB970H from service 61 in Jul 2003 which is still perm 980 as of today.

178 mercz perms doesn't live that long though. Thats a pretty long time.
Even though it has a full scania fleet but mercz cameos can get more than 3 though, but not common. By the way how long did TIB 782J permed 980?
