Study hard, understand what you learnt, gain good results every term, and you will have your freedom.
be glad that you still have 2hrs to be online..
others may want but dun have..
weekdays i usually use around 3-6hrs as my school is so far and need more sleep.weekends usually use 6-8hrs.
15-30mins per day.
see cameos posted.
rare cameos photos.
any press releases.
facebook.
check school email.
log off.
study or sleep.
for mi
due to my bro using too
i also get 4hrs ...
sometime 2hrs
most is 6 hrs
My parents everytime keep on nagging me to off the comp early.Bloody hell..![]()
Weekdays ony use for 4-5 hrs.Weekends slightly longer for 6-8 hrs.
Often or not, my computer is switched on 24-hour.
Time spent on bus forum, less than 1 hour daily, idle time not counted.
Time spent on other computer stuff, more than 10 hours daily. School and research stuff. Watching anime. Playing games. Editing photos.
Secondary school days I spend virtually 0 hours on computer daily. Use it once/twice a week.
Average is 1h 30min , will not exceed 3 hrs , minimum 45 mins - 1 hr.
Use two times a day . Sometimes if I went for joyride , once a day.
As for miee....
Believe it or not, I don't spend much time on bus forums but i pass by daily. Most time spent on other stuffs like watching youtube, playing games, facebook, msn etc. But other than that, sleep at home, watch TV, play PSP or go out hang out with friends or snap cameos. ![]()
When i on, first go MSN den Sgforums.. didn't cout how many hours.. if tired or needto go out then i shut down the com
SAT, SUN and Public Holidays - Limited Time: 1hr - 3hr sometimes off
everyday... max for me is 6 hours... if school time... 4 hours per day... both day and night haha
except for uncoming exams
4-5 hours on average.
Haha its good to 'fight for your rights' but if you are using the computer like me, well there are lots to pay... i myself have serious myopia after fours plus years of consistent PC usage. Good or not, but so far my myopia increased 100 plus degrees because of it. Worth or not, depending on individual. i find my own worth, although i am destroying my eyes and i admit that.
Because of the data i go over, and the often reluctance to get off from the desk, this contributed to the eye 'damage'. If you are using the computer for prolonged periods, i advise you to rest every 30 to 50 minutes. How you rest is depending, but some games like MapleStory (if you enjoy this game; i did many years ago when there are only three job levels) i understand it takes lots of concentration. So logging off once in a while is good.
Since you are young you can still save your eyes. If like me... Too late i guess, but i try my best to change my habits.

I am surfing the Internet with my "tuitionmate" who was with me and played continuously until the tutor come. This is a totally wrong mistake as when the tuition ends, the tutor talks to my parents that he will allow us to only play unlimitedly for 2 days, like SBS 8030 L or TIB1224Y.
My parents decided then to make a deal to give me 4 hours on school holiday weekdays, 3 hours on schooling weekdays and 2 hours on weekends. In fact, it should be longer during the weekend (like Merczrox).
Now the tutor increases it to 3 days, Friday (new addition), and weekends.
I was still on the verge of disagreement, because I'm too addictive to it...
If only time could turn back, I would keep my comp and never even let my "tuitionmate" touch it.
I should work harder. If I get A1 for the more than 50% of all examinable subjects in Mid-Year, all things will probably return to their original order.
Well, I can choose to:
1 Use only once or twice a week.
2 Use only 4 - 5 hours each day.
Which is better?
3 Overcome the addiction. (It's a must, I think!!)
I will need bus fans' help to do No. 3. Please??
I hope this won't lead to a flame war.
4 to 5 hours a day is pretty generous, and should be your obvious choice.
Use your first few hours to complete the most pressing of tasks (such as clearing emails, private messages). Then any extra time is like a bonus to you.
You can make use of the reduced hours on weekends to go out. Take a long, quiet bus ride with your studying materials on board.
For me since I am working currently, I will spend on my computer during afternoon (around 3 plus after it ends) and night (about 7 to 8pm when my brother reaches home from work) on sgforum, MSN and facebook.
During poly school days, I just on all of them till the school ends. But during presentation, I will just 'quit' facebook. Since my poly is comouter-based, I have spent most of the time on computer, compared to my secondary school days- night only.

Option 2 is the better choice, obviously.
Option 1: Assume 12 hours each day. 12 X 2 = 24
Option 2: 5 X 7 = 35
See? Muuuuuch better.
Anyway, do your homework, and put in effort. I know computer addiction is a bitch to overcome (I'm a hardcore com addict), but find something else that appeals to you, like a hobby you can do in the time that you would otherwise spend in an unproductive manner in front of the PC.
alamak another =.='' thread
Should be out about half a day, if i went out for job interviews
other than that, should be an hour or 2+
